My current computer Runs:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 1660 Super
20 gigs of RAM

I currently get around 50 fps during low hours and 15-20 fps during peak hours

What would be a good idea for upgrades for my computer so that Gmod runs better?

CPU is a really small bottleneck for the GPU I would first invest in a decent CPU than upgrading your GPU

Note do research regarding Upgrading stuff, and think of further

Also motherboard would be nice to know as without it I cant recommend anything regarding upgrading.
cpu doesnt bottleneck his gpu at all 1660ti is not a great card, but not like it matters for gmod anyways all he can do is get a 5600x3d for the best performance before upgrading mobo for AM5

GPU can only output around 87%, he has a 1660 super not a 1660TI. Going by stats and numbers his CPU is bottlenecking the GPU both for the 1660 ti or super variant ( money grabbing stuff)

Like you said upgrading his CPU may be worth it but at the same time wasting 110 euro for a 56003xd when if you wait a little longer and do research you may find something better for the long run.

if the intentions are to only play gmod then you shouldn't spend a lot of money anyways.

do you base your information from userbenchmark or someshit, a ryzen 5 3600 doesn't even bottleneck up to like a rx 6700. If he want's better gmod performance though he should just upgrade his CPU since GPU doesn't matter whatsoever for gmod
