What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
My suggestion is to replace the 5k scrap burger with a breach-charge of the same price. The charge would be used to damage or break the d-block airlock.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I honestly don't know. I didn't find it.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
-Would allow D-Class players with a lot of scrap to utilize it in a way that promotes D-Class teamwork.
-Would give GENSEC more variation in their job.
-Techies would have a more frequent job fixing Airlock.
-Organized D-Class breaches would become mini roleplay events.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-Currently a lot of players have large amounts of scrap so early on there would be a lot of use.
-If the charge can destroy more doors than just airlock, D-Class could severely disrupt base operations.
-D-Class would potentially be more interested in breaching attempts than testing.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I believe it would add roleplay value to D-Class and GENSEC interactions. Hopefully it would organically lead to mini RP events of more intense code 2.
