What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I will not oversell my abilities at all, however I will say this.
I am dedicated to achieving the goals of whoever I am working for. I am hardworking and dedicated to the jobs that I do in roleplay. I have applicable experience as a former Junior CL4 holder. I am good at following orders. I am an experienced roleplayer and I enjoy creating fun and interactive roleplay situations. I’d be lying if I said this application wasn’t drafted just because I prefer the Overseer Assistant path of roleplay over the Ethics Assistant one. While medical and assistant roleplay differs immensely, I do believe my experience, especially working around Council members and with them, would make me an asset to the Council if I am made one.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
> Following and carrying out orders issued by the O5 Council. This is the base job description, as an Overseer assistant it is important you are able to follow orders given to you by your employers. This also enables more swift working to the betterment of the Council’s objectives, since those are being met.
> Being a point of contact for concerns by Foundation staff, and relaying any information to higher-ups when it is requested. This keeps the Overseers in the loop regarding departmental performance.
> Authorising Advanced Armoury when it is required, typically during a three-breach scenario.
> Working closely with M.T.F. Alpha-1. Working with the Council means getting along with their primary defence force. When it is required, this also means fulfilling objectives they cannot in a non-combative light.
> Enforcing the Foundation Legal Codex when it is required. Of course, that is Internal Security’s job, however there are many situations where the information being dealt with is too sensitive to go through them.
> Creating and maintaining favourable roleplay relations between general Foundation members and the Council. This includes being able to roleplay effectively, both creating and participating in roleplay.

Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what story lines they would be involved in:
“Mavis Hopkins (then Mavis Garcia) was born in Ontario, Canada. While she was still young, her father left for Afghanistan. She was always noticeably good at sport-based activities. It was noted that from a young age she always wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps. As soon as she graduated High School, she enlisted into Canada’s Armed Forces.
She was always described as lively and energetic by her Officers. It was just this hard-working attitude that got her promoted to second-in-command for her basics group. During her basics course, she met the man that would soon be her husband. They were married two months after they met, in some sort of sick soul-mate way.
Within her first year of enlistment, she was deployed as support to an Iraq mission. After her first deployment, she joined the United Nations. From then, she was deployed as support a number of six times on longer deployments. For the times she wasn’t deployed, she remained on base at Manitoba.
When she was twenty three, she had her first and only child, who her and her husband named Isabella Hopkins.
It was during 2019 during her deployment that her elderly mother and her then three year old child died from influenza. She returned home for a brief period before being approached by the Foundation.
During her six year tenure at the Foundation, she was involved with many administration and information-based tasks and was well-regarded in her position at Site ?????.
