For how long have you played on CG SCP: Roughly 2-3 years
Age: 18
In what country are you located?: United States of America
Time zone: EST
Character name(s): Reece "Indigo" ( Foundation & UNGOC) 'Rust' Biggins (CI)
Civilian name: Tommy Boi
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
-
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- MTF E-11 (3 times, highest rank LCPL) UNGOC (Previous, CPL) CI (Current, held twice CI-B)
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- I have received one RDM warning, that was when I began playing the server and I didn't understand the rules, and the other 4 warnings are for FailRP, 3 of which are due to not knowing the rules (early on) and 1 is due to, I'm going to be honest, minging as a techie.
Why are you applying for Security Captain?
- When first loading into the server and reaching level 5, most individuals pick the Cadet job within Foundation. With this, GSD sees many new players who do not understand how the Civil Networks SCP-RP server operates. I'd like to assist these new players with the role of Captain as, although a Sergeant has the ability to lead, many people do not want to listen whenever a Sergeant says something. I believe that the title of 'Captain' would allow me to better help out these new players onboard into our community and to strengthen retention rates among them through positive reinforcement and other corrective measures. Not only that but I believe that GSD gets left out of a lot of RP and, in any way possible, I would like for GSD to be involved in more things. That's my goal.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
- I have played so much on the server, especially as GSD, that it's kind of sad. I have accrued nearly 700 hours, if I made $9 an hour for that I will have made roughly $6,300. That's not the point, however, the point is that I have enjoyed almost every second of it (including the admin sits). I have obtained the role of Sergeant and have conducted many successful leadership responsibilities such as: Sweeping, processing D-Class, defending the welfare of the Foundation and the personnel within. Although I'm not very vocal, I strive to communicate with others. This is the third time I have applied, which doesn't mean I'm qualified but I will keep applying, even if every single application gets denied.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
- A Security Captain has a wide range of responsibilities. One of the most general responsibilities would be maintaining, managing, and deploying Security throughout Site-65. A Captain must work closely with their peers to coordinate their conduct in a ethical and realistic manner. With a CL4, a Captain has the responsibility of tactfully traversing areas where most personnel may not enter. Additionally, a Captain can authorize many things and their word within the General Security Department holds weight that must be carried by careful hands. Lastly, Captains must train and recognize good behavior then reward the General Security personnel with credit.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Reece "Indigo" Jackson born 1986 in Bath County, Kentucky, aspired to be a guard in a prison from the age of 7. He lived a happy life with his father and mother. When Reece was about 14, his mother fell deathly ill to chronic leukemia. She departed from him that Fall. Things didn't get much better especially when he turned 17. At the age of 17, he and his dad were exploring the town of Pinewood until 8 D-Class (Looked like inmates to him and his dad) jumped them. Reece's father attempted to fight back but all he had was a pen. Reece's dad successfully fended off the D-Class but was missing an eye, part of an ear, and was bleeding out. This was until a Nu-7 sharp shooter blew Reece's dad's brains out. After that, Reece was kidnapped and class-f'd into being a D-Class. Reece had to work hard and risk his life several times in order to become trusted enough to become Foundation Personnel. This was the start of Reece's journey.
