-> Sunday January 7th 2024 - Inappropriate Misconduct (I can't provide an explanation for this one, I have forgotten, sorry.)
-> Sunday February 11th 2024 - FailRP (If I remember correctly this was due to me messing around right before server restart, as I thought it would be okay. Which is also another dumb reason for me to get a warning. That I could've easily avoided.)
-> Friday July 26th 2024 - ERP (This was a really dumb one I could've easily not gotten. And looking back on it, I see that I shouldn't have said anything.)
-> Apr 18, 2025 - FailRP (I have applied to get this removed in the past, which it will not be, and I think that it should; still though I do see why it isn’t. I helped to “breach” 008, in reality it was an unauthorised test that I was forced to do under FearRP situations.)

Why are you applying for Director of Research?
I am applying for the role of Director of Research as I love the situations and the friends I have made within Research as a whole. Whether it be a misbehaving researcher (those darn researchers!) or a test I do with others, I enjoy it. I would love to continue this roleplay of my character with others and create more interesting storylines within this server. I would also like to sort out some kinks we have within the Department, and to make it more accessible for everyone to play and enjoy Research.

What makes you suitable for Director of Research?:
I believe I am suitable for this position as, even though I have experience as an Executive Researcher, I want to push further and step outside of my comfort zone. To assist people and create long-lasting impacts on the community. I think I’m suitable for this role as I feel as though I am helpful, easy-to-approach and talk to, motivated, and I believe I have the power to shape & mould new and interesting things within the foundation's Research department. I believe that I can make a lasting impact (a good one, I hope) that will be used for the betterment of peoples' experiences.

What are the responsibilities of the Director of Research in RP?:
I have read over the guidelines and here is what I picked out as the most important:​
  • Appoint and manage CL4 positions​
  • Maintenance of the Department (Policies, Rosters, Documentation, Cross-departmental relations,)​
  • Engaging with the Department​
  • Create improvements within the Department​
Though I will add onto these with my own ideas:​
  • Create opportunities for people to thrive within the Department (Ease of Access/Quality of Life)​
  • Making the Department be accessible to everyone wanting to be apart of Research​
  • Make sure to stay professional, as you need to now not only are you a role model for Cl1-Cl3s, but you are now a role model to Junior Cl4 positions now (Being fair, respectful)​
  • Understanding the peoples’ needs/wants/troubles within the department (This is a big thing, as I believe you cannot be the best at something until you think in someone else's position, this creates the sense of a Director who listens and understands around the department, it also assists in the making of improvements.)​

This is, Executive Cameron Fandrax, applicable codename being ‘Neosis’.
I’m sure whoever is currently enjoying my nervousness,
has already seen my application for Executive.
I did get it after all, so, yippee!
Ahem-
Professionalism Cameron.

This recording of me will serve as my application into the standing role of:
Director Of Research.
Now I’ve already told my whole ‘sob story’ being a small part of my childhood.
Yet, that still stands.
I still believe that there is so much more to this world than we’ve already seen.
So I’m not going to stop at just the role of Executive.
I do understand that, you know, with the role being the Director and all I will have less ‘freedom’
and more administrative tasks; but even if it’s not me who finds whatever secrets,
that are still left in this world,
it will bloody hell be one of my Researchers that will!
Oh shoot, professionalism remember…

Director Of Research.

Huge +Support. Cameron is very knowledgable about the department and consistently outputs great work for the department. Not only does he do this, but he actively provides lore for his character, colleagues and the site as an extension. You can tell his heart is in what he does and I wouldn't have no one else in the role of DoR for Site 65.

You seem like a great guy but the problem for me is that you haven't gone into enough detail with the responses to these questions. I'd like to see more detail on your answers to these questions for example:

"I would also like to sort out some kinks we have within the Department"

What 'kinks' are you talking about exactly, Policies? Organizational Structure? Executive Activity/Management? And how do you plan on fixing them?

I understand that I haven't lined out the kinks what I am referring to, thank you.
The previous DoRs have managed to leave Research in a good light, with their own changes to the department; such as policy changes that they have made, and management. Which leaves not much room to have the need to fix policies (other than getting rid of loopholes within policies and making sure they're easily readable - such as having a simplified and unsimplified versions, to clear up misunderstandings)

What I wish to focus more on, during my time as DoR, is the accessibility and ease of access within the department; now the department itself is accessible, don't get me wrong, but too few fully understand the capabilities you can achieve within it. I wish to open the department fully - by making it easier to apply yourself within the department -, and restore it back to it's original status (without the minges of course) as a department that is seen as a driving force of roleplay (yes I also understand that it is already a big driving force, yet it has fallen off recently with people leaving the department to pursue other goals and/or ignoring it/not giving it enough respect).

Some things I'd like to create and push out to enable this accessible and easy to access environment is:

  1. Training videos for the Junior Researchers (Now I am already working on this as an Executive - which you could say that I don't need DoR just to create these videos and I understand - these tapes will be simplified versions of what is expected of you within the site and how you can do your job. It will include the very simplistic things in the department that all Jr Researchers will do, moving up to more complex ideas that isn't taught normally (such as defining cognitohazards, memetics, etc. In easy to understand ways). These training videos will be short 3-5 minute long clips, using in-game footage recorded in roleplay situations - an example of this is when I had recorded the first episode, I worked with ISD, GSD and Medical to record the footage; with ISD being there to ensure people are not within the way of the recording -).
  2. The re-reading/re-thinking of our policies within the department. As I previously stated, the last DoRs left Research in a good light, however I would still like to go over the policies as there are either confusing parts that constantly require correction to personnel or parts that they just don't understand. There are also loopholes that can be used for people who don't exactly wish to roleplay but rather abuse to either minge or skip out on the whole research part entirely (such as 939 sampling where a policy to get it accepted is, and I quote, "Creation of Class-A Amnestics for sale exclusively within Site-65.")
  3. Since many Researchers aren't in the discord, there needs to be something that we can use to push out updates to them; such as a board within the department that is eye-catching enough to where they will read a short sentence on what has been updated (this allows us to easily tell the people not in the discord that policies have been changed, and they need to check).
  4. Building off of the previous point of many not being in the discord/not caring to be in the discord, we can change one of our many filing cabinets that we have in their bunks to something where they can put a document of suggestions in. (Yes I understand that the usage of this may be very little, but for those who actually care to do so, they can)​

TL;DR
The main takeaway here, that I'm trying to give, is that since Research is currently left in a good light (well debatable with certain things) I'd like to focus on the Roleplay side, and pushing this to the masses - just like how the UK has a ton of RP, I'd like to do the same.
