A person's goals for the future of the RsD department speak more words than anyone could ever write down here.

There are a lot of answers to this question. But my one is to help the department. I've been on the server for a while, and the current DoR team is one of the strongest I have seen in ages. I want to see the department thrive and have something to take pride in - be able to say "This is something I did". I really enjoy writing documents, and anyone that knows me well can say that's an understatement. I'm a person that obssesses over my document being perfect. As an example a current proposal I'm drafting is over 20 pages long, and no where near finished. I don't have a lot of examples as many of my old documents have been wiped from my data folder, but I'd be happy to answer any questions.
At the end of the day, there is no right answer to this question. It is the mindset and ability of the person applying that determines the outcome.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
The main quality that sets applicants apart is their ability to both lead, and partake in roleplay; something I'm confident, experienced in, and capable. I'm currently heavily working with GMs on two seperate RP events - Regarding a research project, and Kayla/Zoey's Site-49 experience. In the past I've also both taken part in and lead a large amount of RP, as required by CL4 positions. This would include:
> Creation of the 'garden' and 'flower' codewords as a replacement of using SCP-008 in comms during my time as Site Advisor, allowing for MTF to communicate with causing a panic.
> Accepted for the position of TGM where I was able to independently create RP scenarios, as well as learn how to effectivley communicate my ideas to others.
> Promoted to a high position in an MTF A-1 subdepartment alongside 'Wrath': tasked with high value assassinations and kidnappings. Acting as O5's special operation taskforce alongside .
> Heavily involved in creation of projects for both RsD and DEA: As an example, I designed and ran an operation against the UNGOC with the mission of gathering evidence against the UN which was later adressed at a meeting. Succesfully recorded multiple UNGOC kidnappings (including a crucifiction??) as well as interrogated high value UNGOC targets for information.
> Multiple successful misinformation campaigns against the ethics committee, leading to the Class-E amnestication of all those involved to support plausible deniability, including the entirety of the O5 Council.
> Worked with Jimmy (GM) on map building / event planning for an event involving a large portion of the RsD and medical department regarding a cognito-hazardous anomaly that high clearance personnel came in contact with at Site-49.
> Lots more!
There is a lot more that makes a suitable candidate for the position of Executive Researcher, including my track record in previous junior & senior CL4 positions.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
Too many to count. Since my return I've worked on three documents worthy of an excellent rating:
> Project Goetia: Use of pataphysics in anomaly containment (Keeping specifics gatekeeped for now).
> Inducing host tropism in anomalous pathogens: Title is all you need, essentially creating/editing pathogens to have induced specificity meaning they only target specific things due to certain stuff.
> Proposal Tau-3, "Quiet Mind": Working with a GM to creating an either temporary or permanent cure to Zoey's (Kayla) cognito-hazardous sickness
A document being graded excellent requires a set of criteria to be met, ranging from aesthetic appeal, grammar, clarity of writing, easy-to-follow layout, as well as a document that appeals to its reader. A document should never be graded based on who wrote it, as I've seen this happen a few times. It's the reasoning and ability to properly portray your ideas in writing that make sense to someone who has never been involved in your line of work, either through explanation of concepts, a summary page, or even just definitions as you go along. There is no right way to make a research document, but there are wrong ways.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
I'll create a list as it's often easier to read than a chunky paragraph. Apolagies:
> Grading documents: This is probably the most self explanatory one.
> Inducting foundation personnel into the research department.
> Prioritising research department needs to keep the department alive: By this I mean in terms of RP. You should always take every decision, approval, with foresight of how it may affect the research department.
> Encourage others to roleplay, include them! RP is the most important tool that RsD have. This can be done by doing CL4 testing, writing up new documents, etc...
> Helping new researchers is a requirement. You need to help people who are struggling, it's the reason you are who you are.
> Giving feedback on documents. Help others who don't understand the proper layout of a document to write amazing documents.
