Why are you applying for Site Director? I am applying for Site Director to fill the vacant position and to return Site Administration into an active and engaging body of authority that is the go to for all necessary communications. In addition to this I also have experience in communicating with GoIs, history in enforcing policy and helping change when necessary and moreover I enjoy interacting with all the site staff to ensure that they are having a good experience. I also think that I have been a positive addition to the site in decisions that will aid the RP experience of other site departments, an example of this could be when I have concluded talks diplomatically with the UN to ensure that their efforts are continued in the advancement of RP, most commonly with RSD, Medical and even E-11 when they aid with QRF. The decision to go for Site Director comes with the ability to make necessary changes for the betterment of the site and to further hone my own skills.

Henceforth, the first steps I would take upon being successfully appointed as the new Site Director would be to meet with the entire body of Site Administration to confer and discuss an action plan, that would be followed as closely as possible to ensure performance from all subjects is monitored accurately, fairly and consistently. Of course, being a new team and all, we would try our best to familiarise with each other so that way we can learn and understand each others areas of strength and weakness, therefore tasks could be specifically be handed to those who are strong in the area but also remembering to teach those who may class it as a weakness, so that they can build up their abilities and understanding of different areas.

Furthermore a meeting would be scheduled for all CL4 personnel, in which I would require the department heads to be fully proficient in everything surrounding their relevant area. This would be a basis for what is to come, because as an Administrative body it is our job to ensure that said personnel are performing up to their expected standards. Nevertheless if performances were not at the expected standard, then we will of course narrow down and try to highlight reasonings for this and of course make relevant changes to direct the track back onto the right path via the use of our guidance, which will include planning RP events, operations, and even just additional help from the Site Advisors.

What makes you suitable for Site Director over Site Advisor?: Firstly, in my opinion, the most important reason that makes me suitable for Site Director is my extensive experience in monitoring and acting as a liaison to a wide variety of players throughout this and other communities. This comes from holding roles such as General on the old MRP server and being a part of the Overseer Council on this one. For the specifics however, I believe that I possess:

Leadership:
On many occasions have I been able to revive regiments and departments, which may insinuate that I have a good ability to communicate and bring the best out of a multitude of different characters and people. I also believe that I have set a high standard at communicating with GoIs which will bring the best out of people in DEA, and hopefully all of SOP without seeming rude, instead it being acknowledged that we are trying to gain as much as we can without risking as much etc. I have also been a figurehead in enforcing surface policies, both IC and OOC by having thorough communication with CI and UN in those regards.

An example where I have shown my leadership abilities more recently is where I took the role of Director and have managed to fill out the chain of command, maintain good relations with the UN despite the other Director and most active Dpt Manager resigning. This demonstrates how I can effectively promote communication and stability to my delegates in the most unfortunate scenarios.

Active:
I like to think myself as one of the more active members in the community, both in game and out of game via availability in externals such as discord and teamspeak. I have also maintained a professional attitude when it comes to RP which makes my sheer will and determination to any role I possess to prosper and aim to act at its highest capability.

Thoughtful:
Not that I deny being compassionate, however I link thoughtfulness to a key aspect of leadership. By which I mean I do not rush into situations unprepared and unknowing, I tend to carefully plan out a number of possible outcomes before I make my statement, whether that be a command, or action.

Examples of this are when we are compiling evidence and listing areas of discussion when conferring with groups such as the UN in order to gain more favourable terms in pressing topics.

Communication:
Effective communication cannot be preached about enough, as its lack of can lead to underperformance and misunderstanding with both internal and external personnel. This has shown to be most effective with the branches of SOP (mostly Nu-7 and DEA) when it comes to organising meeting, approving access and more regarding staff ranging from event characters to most commonly the UN. It is paramount that, especially across the CL4 group, communications are clear and frequent to ensure that there is no misunderstanding of situations. Reasons like this are why I have requested changes, such as the SOP CL4 Discord channel, to make ways of communication much more efficient. Also the SOP Announcement channel gets updated weekly to ensure that all SOP personnel are aware of our current stances with Groups of Interest in order to be able to act accordingly.

Documentation:
As I have held numerous senior positions prior I am rather experienced when it comes to sending official letters to people whether it be to advance and promote RP is unique ways or even just to note down important events that have transpired, this makes communication much easier without the need of notifying people directly all the time, albeit not as much this time over due to inactivity from some groups.

Most recently I have taken to planning events which will introduce less known GoIs to members of SOP and the entirety of site. For example I had planned a site visit where a member of Wilson's Wildlife Solutions from 31st North Deerway Avenue and drafted up a document to ensure full transparency on their eventual arrival.

Experience:
I understand that my only Sr CL4 period on the server had been Director of External Affairs, not including my time spent as CL5, however this has provided me the opportunity to interact with every single department / regiment for a wide variety of reasons. This ranges from stealing neurocontrollers from CI for the benefit of RSD etc to planning operations within our department and with groups such as the UN to bolster and promote different RP in the Medical Department (blood drives for example).

Insight:
Due to my extensive knowledge revolving the server and SCP lore itself I am fully aware of the responsibilities that I will be taking on if I am successful in reassignment to Site Director, this means that I will be able to maximise efficiency within the body by filling out a solid and high quality chain of command to ensure that relevant work gets delegated to trustworthy and motivated personnel to ensure a peak experience for all who interact with us.

An example of where insight has proven to be very important can come from understanding the terms of the DMZ consisting of pinewood and its surrounding areas, if I were to not understand / be aware of the terms than it could lead to negative interactions with the UN who may be seeking consequence for breaching such important terms of agreement.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?: The responsibilities of Site Administration, Site Director more specifically are as followed:

Appointment of new Department / Regiment leaders:
Site Administration is in charge of the appointment of the Nu-7 and E-11 Commanders; the Medical, General Security, External Affairs Directors / Chiefs.

Appointment of new Site Advisors / Managers:
Possibly the most important role of the Site Director is to ensure that a stable and fit chain of command follows them in the body of administration. This is to ensure that they are trusted to carry out their relevant duties and also have the ability to create and involve themself in their own RP creation / interactions.

Departmental Reviews:
This may not be occurring currently however I would like to promote the reviewing of Departments constructively to ensure that they are fully aware of their current flaws and their stronger areas. This will highlight the needed areas of improvements in departments and also aid in effective communication with departments / regiments and Site Administration as of course they will be there to provide support to the departments. More importantly this will ensure that all department leads are of sufficient quality and are motivated to keep their department in a good state.

Authorising AA:
This is to all of Site Administration but is definitely an area that needs highlight as recently it has taken far too long to authorise AA which prolongs the duration of breaches and lowers the effectiveness of E-11 and all responding combatives to recontain SCPs, also lowering morale due to them not being able to conduct their duties with max efficiency.

Communicating with Groups of Interest:
While of course the main port of call for all communication involving GoIs is the Department of External Affairs and Nu-7 in their absence, Site Administration must remain up to date with the current status and stances regarding GoIs to ensure no miscommunication occurs and at the potential that some talks may require escalation.

Employment Hearings:
Site Administration conducts employment hearings for all staff who have been deemed unfit to serve in their current positions so that they have a fair chance at appeal if their argument is proven to be solid.

Authorisation of Mass termination of D Class personnel:
This is a last resort if the scenarios in D Class are proven to be too volatile to enforce ethical restraint and as a last measure mass termination can be authorised to ensure that the site is not compromised by escaped D Class.

Authorising Research tests:
Due to the creativity of our subjects in the Research Department, some of their tests may require approval from SA due to them having the potential to breakout and lead to site-wide problems.

Issuing of Orders and Operations:
Site Administration will work closely with MTFs and Departments to host operations which will provide a more specific manner of RP to ensure that people who excel in certain areas receive recognition for their efforts and abilities whilst also keeping the playerbase engaged as even the effort itself goes a long way with keeping newer and existing members of the community active.

Of course the specifics of some details may have been missed however I believe that I have clarified the points within the rest of my application.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Copy of Personal File - Lucas Doyle

I have a multitude of storylines and potential events planned for my character ranging from interactions and backgrounds with other Groups of Interest however am not going to elaborate too much now as it is mostly vague.

Neutral just due to me disliking the idea of someone outside of SA jumping straight to it as personally I believe SD should always be an internal promotion or someone from the higher bodies (Similar to Gregory McCain) stepping from active SC into it, Yes as a senior CL4 you see a lot of how the current site is operating but I feel like being involved in the SA spot you get a much wider view.. You do technically meet what is required to apply so I wish you the best of luck.

I have never met a more dediated, proficient, and exemplary candidate for the position of Site Director. Brum wields an iron will and possesses a concrete authority that permeates throughout the departments he manages.

Brum has made clear to me, after a fireside chat, that he intends to undertake one of the biggest overhauls in Site Administration's history. I've no doubt that he's the man for the job.

When the world seems bleak, when SA is on it's last legs, only one man has the tools to dredge this thing back up to a new golden age.

Best of luck!

What plans do you have for SA?
Honestly, I am rather disappointed with how Site Administration has been ran lately, not saying it was all of them but there was clear problems with communication which build up and lead to underperforming departments.

My first act would be to organise a meeting with ALL CL4 members of staff where I and my other members of Site Administration would set out some clear standards and how to go about meeting these. Communication with the body is paramount and is the key to any prospering department.
