List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
I have a Senior Agent in DEA
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
No
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I want to help advance the research department, and I believe the best way to do that is by stepping into a role where I can contribute as much as possible. Recently, I’ve been conducting several high-clearance research tests. While my position as a Senior Researcher gives me significant access, I feel that moving up to Executive Researcher would allow me the clearance and authority needed to take my experiments even further and maximize their impact.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I’m a very active member of the research department. I’ve written several experiment reports that were well received, and I’m always willing to help other researchers, whether it’s with running their tests or improving their documentation. I make sure to act professionally and consistently put in the effort to do my best with every project. I think that mix of dedication to my own work and support for others makes me a good fit for Executive Researcher.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I’ve written three documents that were graded Excellent:
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
Executive Researchers carry a wide range of responsibilities within the research department. They serve as the first point of contact whenever Junior or Senior Researchers have questions, and they act as role models by demonstrating proper research standards and practices. Executive Researchers guide new personnel into the world of research, ensuring they learn the correct methods and expectations from the start. They are expected to hold themselves to a higher standard, setting an example for others to follow. In addition, Executive Researchers oversee the direction of research itself, deciding which tests should be approved and which should be stopped. Their role includes preventing experiments that could harm the reputation of the department, while encouraging and authorizing those that strengthen and advance it.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Samuel Barn was born on March 4, 1999, in Orlando, Florida, to Madison and William Barn. He grew up in a quiet suburban neighborhood and lived an ordinary childhood. He wasn’t a troublemaker and earned average grades in school, but one thing set him apart: his strict sense of rules. When playing games with other kids, the rules had to be followed exactly. If someone broke them and there was no consequence or reset, Samuel would simply walk away. This mindset stayed with him throughout life, shaping the way he viewed order and discipline.
As an adult, Samuel pursued a career in computer engineering. Life was steady but unremarkable, until tragedy struck. An SCP breach in his hometown led to a devastating rampage that destroyed his childhood home and claimed the lives of both of his parents. Driven by grief and vengeance, Samuel dedicated himself to uncovering everything he could about the creature responsible. His search eventually revealed fragments of information about the SCP Foundation. But as he discovered them, the Foundation discovered him.
Samuel awoke one morning not in his small apartment, but inside a Foundation site. There, he was offered a position as an engineer. He accepted, quietly absorbing what knowledge he could despite his limited clearance. His turning point came when he proposed a modification to an SCP containment cell one that reduced breach risks. From there, he grew more involved, submitting suggestions, learning containment methods, and displaying an increasing curiosity about the anomalies under Foundation care.
His initiative and potential were noticed by higher-ups, who granted him the title of Junior Researcher. He was transferred to Site-65, home to one of the largest concentrations of SCPs, where he immersed himself in study. Samuel refined his documentation skills and quickly earned recognition for the clarity and depth of his reports. His work paid off as he soon rose to the title of Senior Researcher.
At that level, Samuel began conducting more ambitious experiments, always pushing for a deeper understanding. His dedication and meticulous approach earned him access to high-clearance anomalies, including Class 5 SCPs such as SCP 682 and SCP 079. One of his most notable achievements was a cross-test involving both entities, an experiment that not only provided invaluable insights but was carried out without a single breach or incident, something highly unusual for either SCP, let alone both. The success of this test solidified his reputation among Site leadership, marking him as a researcher capable of handling the Foundation’s greatest challenges.
Even now, Samuel carries with him the same mindset that first elevated him from engineer to Junior Researcher: the belief that better containment means a safer Foundation. Beyond his experiments, he continues to seek ways to improve and refine SCP containment procedures, with a particular focus on the anomalies that are most difficult to control.

I’ve written three documents that were graded Excellent:
- A SCP 330 test as a Jr. Researcher. Where I documented a method to obtain unlimited candy from SCP-330.
- A SCP-330 follow-up test where I expanded the first test to check whether there’s a cap on total candies consumed; recorded thresholds and observed effects.
- A SCP-049 interview where I ran a comparative evaluation with two D-Class showing different levels of “humanity.” SCP-049 identified the more “human” subject as exhibiting a significant level of “pestilence,” clarifying his use of the term.
