I appreciate the effort, but this does not give anything concrete to bring to GSD leadership. Unless we have proof or hard evidence, it is still hearsay and cannot be used to support any decision. That said, both I and the other captains recognize that he was a great captain. That said, to actually demonstrate his growth, we would need to see him more involved in GENSEC again, ideally starting out in a Sergeant role.

I won't lie, Sule, I think you are a good person, and you have most likely learned from your mistakes in the past. All of our interactions have been positive, but I personally believe you should be in GSD as a sergeant for a while again before becoming Captain. Show us that you have improved by being a Sergeant, and make another application if this one gets denied. If it gets accepted, be sure to remain professional and do not minge around.
