What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Remove Bodycams
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I havent seen any posts about removing Bodycams
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
You dont need to have a Bodycam on to get somebody arrested
If you do a test and you want to clip the test you dont need a bodycam anymore (also you get a clear view of the screen because the Bodycam thingy isnt on the top right)
Any and all clips can be used In Character and doesnt need extra "bodycam" in the top right.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Less Realism (Mind you its never been an issue before bodycams were added)
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
The reason i am making this suggestion is cause the bodycam just doesnt add anything usefull to the Gameplay.
Lets make an example here, somebody breaks the Legal Codex, gets arrested by you and ISD asks you for bodycam footage, after you uploaded it you realise you didnt have your bodycam on so it makes the clip invalid, making the person that broke the Legal Codex "innocent" and you cant really do anything about it and the person doesnt get any punishments and might do it again. Adding to this example any Research test footage without a bodycam also becomes OOC and not IC making it in Roleplay useless.
I think these examples make my point clear enough to understand that any clips that might be usefull in Roleplay cannot be used because you simply forgot to have a bodycam or turn one on with this point i must say it just takes away more Roleplay then it adds. Before they were added there werent no real issues with "Bodycam" footage due it just being implemended into RP but now if you forget to turn it on or just complety forget about the bodycam anything on that clip becomes "OOC"
Also if you really want the bodycam ingame just leave it for immersive feeling, but make any clips still IC
(I am sorry for grammer mistakes or if it just a bit too short but i think you will get the point reading this)
