To properly criticize the rich, one must not look to the individual as the cause of their own behavior, nor just the systems they perpetuate of which their wealth roots from; one must instead consider both and then the sum of all history, of the cycles of heinousness and rot perpetuated throughout generations of names—they must be willing to see the wealthy as people, as people anyone is capable of becoming. Not by class ascendancy, as we all know by now, the American Dream has long since left us—this is speaking to the innate corruption wealth has on the human mind, in all of the flavors of culture that capitalism has touched.
To properly criticize the rich, therefore, is to remind them that they are no more different or special than the rest of us, as violently and unflinchingly as possible, as grotesquely and ostentatiously as possible, but in a way which seeks not to satirize, but utterly realize the mundane truths of this world.
It is good to remind them that they bleed as easily as we do. It is good to remind ourselves we are capable of the same callousness, of the same cruelty. When the writer cannot deprive the rich of their money, they should instead seek to deprive them of their status as idols in society.
The educated masses will be more powerful than them.

Name: Amos Hershell Marshall
Position: Senior Founder of Marshal, Carter & Dark Ltd.
Background:
Born May 13th, 1961. Fifth Marshall to inherit a place within the Designated Sextet. Father to Chrysophilius Marshall. Artistically-minded, pretends to still be Anglican, and makes a lot of his money from private equity firms.
Deeply haunted by his past, particularly the failing of his marriage and how his wife treated his son, Amos sees little joy in working at MC&D anymore outside of the very specific set of spheres he still operates in. Despite his jadedness with the company, he maintains these extremely well, hoping to make a good impression on his son’s big dreams before he retires because of the shoes Percival is expecting him to fill, while also hoping to atone for all of the people he has destroyed throughout his (admittedly) illustrious career.
Amos is very cool-headed in most circumstances, talking as if he has an obvious air of melancholy about him, provided he’s not being outright grumpy. Though not the smartest emotionally, he makes up for that with an extreme well of intellectual pursuits. He prefers to play ignorant to his problems, especially familial ones, withdrawing into his job, books, women, and the arts as a way to lie to himself that everything is going fine, that he’s fine with his life where it ended up.
Because of his persistent guilt, he is the most philanthropic of the Designated Sextet.
