What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
Experience: When I last played the server I was an admin as well as an OSA. Each role required me to have extensive knowledge of the server and the vast rules we have. What makes me a good candidate is my knowledge of these rules. As an admin it required me to know all of the server rules we had and as an OSA it required me to know the Code of Conduct as well as the Code of Ethics. At this moment I still am aware of all of the rules and have not forgotten them at all. This as well includes my experience with the role itself. As a past OSA I am aware of how the assistants work and what our duties and orders will be.
Adaptability: One of my greatest strengths that I have is my ability to adapt to a situation rather quickly. Once I am told something I may get it wrong, but once I see my error I understand it and will not get it wrong again. I believe that if you are in a leadership position, then you should be able to adapt well to any incoming complaints, suggestions, or changes that may be brought to you. You want what is best for the people below you and the server in general, and I believe it is the same for ECA just as any CL4 position on the server.
Friendliness: Something I also believe when being in a leadership position is try to be friendly with those around you. Being an ECA will sometimes have people come to you and make complaints about possible Ethics that are violated on site. If you are known as a person who is unkind or rude, it then may make some people not want to approach you. I believe I am the opposite of this and bring a friendly attitude towards those around me and I hope it would carry over to ECA as well so that people do not feel discouraged to approach me.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
Being the front of the CoC to Ethics: As a ECA it is your job to deal with the little things that the actual members should not have to worry about. If a person has a complaint about ethics being violated on site then it is your job to gather this information and relay it to the actual members so that they can handle it themselves. People do not want their time wasted and similarly members of ethics should not have to hear complaints that are not valid or wastes their time when they can be doing better things themselves.
Enforcing: As a ECA it is your duty to ensure ethics are being respected and followed around site wide. You should be keeping an open eye as you walk around on site for any potential ethics being violated so that if they are broken, then you or ISD can handle it. You as well should be walking around and ensuring that places such as surface, HCZ and other sections that are more secluded are also following the code, even if they are not in public view.
Assist the site / Diplomacy: As an ECA you are a lower CL4, not quite up there but that does not mean you can not have an impact. Your role as well should be assisting the site where you can. This can be to help evacuate people in a code black or 5, help auth an AA when it is needed, help with documents, and much more. This as well helps strengthen relations with the site and ethics as a whole. If people see how friendly and helpful an ECA can be then they can rely more on the actual ethics members.

Loviatar spent two years working as an ISD Agent until he was taken by MTF - [REDACTED] on 6/6/[REDACTED] to be brought to [REDACTED] for a special project.
