Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I am applying for medical consultant because,
-I love medical and playing support roles
-I've always felt at home within this department and I am ready to help the Medical Leadership Team once again
-It's a role I truly enjoyed and would be honored to have back
- I have projects and ideas I'd love to work on with the medical leadership team
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?
-I have been in medical for well over a year now
-I have already held medical consultant and Medical Director and know what is expected of me
-I enjoy training and helping Jr Staff
- I have time and patience to devote into this role
-I have comprehensive knowledge of the in game medical practices
- I have held a Cl4 of some type for over a year now with no issues or strikes
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice
-Curing A Common Illness-
-Great the patient
-Ask them for any symptoms they may be having
-Have them follow to the sick bay
-Ask them to lay down on the disease scanner
-Hit scan on the machine
-Wait to see if they have any of the 5 common illness that are on site
- If they test positive dose out at least 50ml of the correct medicine
- Scan them again if they wish
- Ask them if there is anything else needed
- Send them on their way
(Note, there is always the option of using the portable scanner if doing so outside of the Medical Bay)
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?
-Assisting the Sr. medical staff with creating rp opportunities for medical and the site as a whole
-Handling and logging job bans/strikes that do not require the Medical Director
-Performing medical license and combat medic tryouts when requested
-Overseeing any routine or special operations that may be taking place within the medical bay
-Training Jr. Medical Staff
-Making sure all medical staff are following both the CoC and the CoE at all times
-Creating and participating in projects within your specialty field
-Ensuring that all medical staff are prioritizing all site staffs well being
-Grading paperwork that has been submitted by Jr Medical Staff
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what story lines they would be involved in
Sammy was once a foundation chef who, after many months, grew tired of the life in the D-block kitchen and wanted more for her life. She ran into an old friend who had become a doctor and decided this was the path for her. She became a medical trainee and within an hour and a half she had walked into a medical license test and decided to take it for fun, and to her surprise she had passed! She quickly became a senior doctor, then went on to become a medical consultant. As life in the medical bay had become to feel like home she went on to become Director of Medicine where she worked along 3 different fellow DoM's to bring medical into it's golden age. After a 5 month break and time severing under the O5 where she has excelled at her work she is ready to return home.
