Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
After being a senior doctor for a long enough time I have decided that the best way to help the department flourish is to become a consultant. It was not a decision I took lightly and I wanted to make sure I was good and ready to become one by learning everything I needed to know beforehand. Now I believe I’m ready and I am going to step up and take more responsibility while performing my duties to the highest standard possible.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
To put it simply, on one hand dedication. My dedication to the medical department knows no bounds. I am always at the front of medbay and always jump in first to help anyone that comes in. I love my work and love the people I work with dearly and only wish to help those in need while also never turning anyone away who is in genuine need of assistance. But on the other hand I am also strict about my duties taking them very seriously and never waiver when it comes to standing up for the rights of not only my medical staff but my patients even standing in the way of those who could do me harm to uphold the medical departments policies, code of ethics, and code of conduct.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
Diagnosing and curing common diseases:
Step 1: A patient comes in saying they are sick or displaying symptoms, greet them and ask them if they need medical care.
Step 2: Once they accept care, proceed to the infection testing machine and kindly ask them to lay down, once they lay down start the machine.
Step 3 Once the machine finishes analyzing the patient it will tell you on the display if they have one of five curable diseases that are on site being: chest infection, sinus infection, common cold, bacterial infection, or influenza.
Step 4: Now, have the patient wait in the nearby seating area next to the machine while you either craft, grab from the chem fridge, or grab from your own pockets the corresponding cure for the displayed disease being in order same as above: amoxicillin, chlorphenamine, dextrome(dextromethorphan), erythromycin, and oseltamivir phosphate.
Step 5: hand the patient the required dosage of at minimum 50 ML and have them drink it (Or have them injected if they cannot do so for whatever reason)
Step 6: Confirm they have in fact been cured by having them lay back down on the infection scanner and scanning them.
Step 7: If they are clean then tell them so and let them continue on with their day. If not, repeat steps three through six.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
To be a leader and role model within the medical department, someone who other doctors strive to be or be like while they perform their duties. They help train and uplift newer medical personnel, oversee the daily operation of the medical department by writing and approving paperwork, watching over surgeries, and following orders dispensed by the DOM. Consultants can also make their own projects based on their specialty. Consultants have the final say on medical decisions made within the department unless overruled by the DOM.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Joanna grew up in a small town in southeastern Ohio and from a young age always knew she loved helping people. She loved it so much she would become known around her local community as someone who could be trusted and a friend in need to confide in. This mentality is what drew her to the medical field where she spent quite a bit of money and time getting her medical license. Just after college she had found herself in the employment of a small family practice in her hometown that was actually an SCP front called Sinclair, Constantine, and Percival family practice. There she was spotted by a recruitment agency from the foundation for her can do attitude and was flown on a one way ticket to [REDACTED]
Once there she climbed up the ranks of the medical field on site gaining a reputation much like the one she gained growing up receiving not only doctor of the month but also a foundation service commendation for her dedication to her department. Now she plans to go for consultant and use her position to help reduce loss of life all around the facility from D-class to the highest of site inspection as that is her ultimate goal.
