Description of the incident: I was following a player around in order to investigate them for professionalism when once they grew enough suspicion they stopped looked at me and checked my profile rather than asking for ID. This follows under the metagaming rules as it provides the player ooc information using ooc sources that can influence their decisions and roleplay. When a sit was made for the individual the staff member instructed me it was not metagaming as metagaming can only take place after you look at their profile. Also I was informed by staff that everyone does it anyways so it's not metagaming. Metagaming by definition is using any outside sources or outside information your character would not normally have for IC roleplay or decisions. If needed clips can be provided for staff member in question but as this a player report and not a staff one I didn't feel the need to add. As a player it seems ridiculous that someone would be allowed to check you profile to see if you were a threat or not as your off the bat using an outside source you don't have ic to obtain ooc information in the middle of a IC roleplay, also you character must stay ic at all times.

I'll say this as the staff member in question, you are taking my words out of context and not giving the full backstory. I said "a lot of people do it however its not metagaming unless they act upon using that info they gained from checking your profile". Or at least this is what I would've been able to say if I could've spoke longer than a couple seconds before you interrupted me not wanting to listen.

I was attempting to keep the said staff member anomouus. Also due to personal bias as they have a personal grudge against me I was hoping to keep them not involved. Regardless even without him being involved it comes down to the clip that was offered that is the whole incident anyways. If needed further I can provide clips of the sit but as it doesn't resolve around the player specifically I am reporting I didn't feel as needed the only reason staff was mentioned was to explain why I am coming here to report rather than reporting in game.

A sit was made in game it was not against me I made the sit against another player in the clip provided it shows me following a E11 while disguised (I was ISD) I was attempting to see how they would react professionally to the matter. Instead of asking me not to follow them or is checking me for being suspicious they decided to check my full profile and then after seeing I was ISD answered my question. I would have continued investigating them but a chef was on fire in front of me so I had to assist due to them drinking chems. I made a sit for metagaming and Russ disagreed that it was metagaming and suggested I make a player report if I disagree and here we are.
 
Report Denied.

The situation wad already handle ingame therefor you cant make a player report on that player.

Player reports are not a place to make escalation if you disagree with a verdict from a staff member.

You can make a complaint against russtime if you believe his verdict was wrong or biased was involded In the complaint section.
