None of the above warnings have been issued in the past year and the minor glitching ban was immediately rescinded due to the action resulting in the ban being under orders of the Alpha-1 Commander at the time, the warning however was not rescinded.
Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
I am applying for ISD Inspector in order to do more for ISD than I can currently do. While I am on, due to my timezone there are frequently little to no CL4 ISD on, preventing new agents from being trained. There are also generally few CL4 in general on site, preventing access to areas like HCZ in emergencies, slowing down the recontainment of SCPs. Having no Inspectors on also prevents the ability of CL1-3 personnel being arrested to request a summary adjudication, a duty reserved for CL4 ISD members. Even while there are Inspectors on, they are frequently busy, leading to new agents taking longer than they should to receive training, this is obviously something I want to improve upon through being able to do the training completely, start to finish myself.
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
I believe I am suitable for the position of an ISD Inspector due to my copious amount of CL4 experience on the server. The majority of my time on the server has been spent as a DEA Special Agent or an Alpha-1 officer, with my highest rank being Commander. I want to bring the skills I learnt in those positions, especially as an Alpha-1 officer to ISD to help push the department forward as much as I can. While ISD and Alpha-1 are obviously different, and Alpha-1 faced a lot of issues when I was Commander that ISD does not face, the leadership practices are transferable.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
I think an ideal ISD Inspector is active as a priority, approachable, friendly and reasonable. An ISD inspector should not be looking to arrest as many people as possible, they should be trying to educate people, inside and outside of the department. They should be approachable by anyone inside the department and outside. They should be willing and able to train new operatives whenever they are not busy and they should be focused on improving the department and the site as a whole.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
As far as in-game documents go, the most I have written are basic incident reports for a number of departments and arrest reports for ISD. Documents of this nature need to be succinct while retaining all the relevant information necessary to inform whoever the target audience is. As for non-in-game documents that serve to inform new operatives on policies within a department such as handbooks, I have written multiple. I have written the Alpha-1 tryout document, the Alpha-1 sub-division handbook, I significantly rewrote the Alpha-1 handbook and while they are not really roleplay supporting documents, I created a number of other sheets to assist Alpha-1 operatives or officers, including multiple sheets to assist Alpha-1’s chemical collection, the Alpha-1 roster, an old RSD roster (it has been replaced since then), the training/wargame log for Alpha-1 and more. Similar to the in-game documents, documents such as handbooks need to be succinct while remaining detailed, structured and professional. If a handbook is too long and not succinct then it will not be read, if it is too short, people will not know the departmental policies.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
As explained previously, I have a significant amount of leadership experience on this server already. My time as Alpha-1 Commander was spent improving the professionalism and external image of the regiment, while not all changes persisted after I left the same leadership practices can be implemented into ISD. I have a significant amount of experience in training new members of Alpha-1 to retain the utmost professionalism at all times as well as numerous other skills, the same things I taught them can be transferred to ISD, bringing a new perspective to leadership and training that is not currently present.
