What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Remove the static sound effect on the raido, or give us the option to disable or lower the volume of the effect.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
There are many suggestions on the radio but I didn't find any regarding the static noise.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
It makes it a lot easier to hear people, similar to how it is in teamspeak but with the rp benefiets of using the radio. A large amount of the playerbase does not speak english as their native language which can make it even more difficult to understand what they are saying. The static noise on top of that just makes it worse. Especially when there are multiple people talking.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Dev time as always, but I think the time spent removing the effect will be worth it.
Some people might like this annoying effect, that is why I woulnd't mind there being a way to control it, but I highly doubt this would be a good use for the devs time.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Makes it a lot easier to use the radio over teamspeak without hating every second of it because you can bearly hear people.
