What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion adds a new “View/Buy Wares” option to the interact menu (holding E on someone) when targeting certain roles such as MC&D, Gun Dealer, and Heavy Gun Dealer. When interacting with one of these roles, players could use this feature to easily view and purchase items. When buying, it could give an option to put it in the players inventory, put it into the hotbar or drop it on the ground. The seller could receive a commission from sales. For example, for every $100 spent, the seller would earn $10. This is what it could possibly look like:

After clicking it, it could look either like the entity window or how the chemist and chef npcs ui look.
There are two possible versions of how this system could work:
Option 1 – Pop-Up System
When a player selects “View/Buy Wares”, the merchant receives a pop-up saying:
[Player name and title] would like to view or buy your wares. Give access? Yes / No
Example: “Officer John Smith would like to view or buy your wares. Give them access? Yes / No.”
Option 2 – No option for certain jobs
Certain jobs (mainly CL1–CL2 Foundation personnel) would not see the “View/Buy Wares” option in the menu at all. This would follow the same rules as MC&D have when selling inside the Foundation to prevent selling to lower clearances. Everyone else will be able to use the option.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
None that I have seen
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
This suggestion aims to update and make the buying and selling processes better by adding a “View/Buy Wares” option to the interact menu, this also makes the whole process safer, by reducing the chance of scams or item theft. It provides benefits to MC&D and dealer roles, giving them more opportunities to earn money and engage with other players in a controlled way.

- The requester’s job title will be shown in the pop-up (if disguised it will show the disguise’s title) to allow the seller to choose who they want to sell to.
