Denied Discord server suggestion: Selective tryout roles

I used chatgpt because I have a shitty grammar:
Players can choose which division tryout notifications they want to receive. For example, if you’re only interested in HWL tryouts, you can select the HWL Tryout role, for the NU-7 tryout you can pick the NU-7 tryout role and so on. This way, you won’t get pinged for divisions you’re not interested in, are already part of, or already licensed for.

This kind of thing has been denied numerous times in the past because of role bloat and extra annoyance on the part of Platform Team for having to deal with the bajillion roles that are on the Discord.

I do kinda wonder that, since we have donation roles as a thing, if it was viable to do something like that where someone pays to set up tryout ping roles?
