Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: Yes, I was a former staff member of civilnetworks and although I was just a trial mod I think i was an exemplary member of staff. I also have experience moderating SCP Roblox communities. Namely, I was the lead moderator and managed the staff team for a very renowned community a few years back. During this time I learned core moderation principles, discord moderation and how to manage bias.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: One of my proudest achievements since i joined the server has been my involvement with CI LD. Through active participation I developed key skills such as hacking, PvP, aswell as leadership within combative regiments, while also forming good freidnships with people and contributing to engaging roleplay. Becoming a member of this community has been incredibly rewarding and i'm grateful for the good experiences and knowledge i've gained thus far
Why would you like to become a staff member: I was previously a staff member on this server however I didn't have time to ascend past trial mod as I knew i'd have to take a very long time away from the server, but now I am back and I want to be a staff member again because I'm passionate about supporting others and contributing to the growth of the comunity. This server has always been welcoming and engaging and i'm motivated to give back by ensuring it will remain a safe and enjoyable space for everyone. when i was staff i regularly assisted new players, mediated conflicts where i could and overall fostered a friendly environment
Back when I was a lead moderator in a Roblox SCP roleplay community, I learned a lot about how to handle ingame and Discord moderation, settle arguments, and make sure that rules are always enforced fairly. These experiences have reinforced my confidence in my ability to handle difficult situations calmly, negate any personal bias, and help my fellow staff do their jobs well.
Since i joined CI LD, I experienced some quality roleplay and I built upon my hacking, PvP, and leadership skills. My improvement in these areas have made me more committed to the community, and I want to give back by helping it continue grow and facilitating a positive environment. I am passionate about making both old and new members, have a safe and enjoyable space, and Im excited by potentially being to be able to contribute as part of the staff team again.
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: If I could improve anything about the staff team I'd focus on making server rules more accessible and understandable, especially for new players/new gmod players in general. Rules like rdm and nlr are clear, but more situational ones like FailRP can be confusing especially because of some hard to reach clarifications. As a staff member i'd like to prioritize education over punishment for honest mistakes by clarifying rules during sits, encouraging questions and dedicating time to explaining complex or niche rules in a straight-forward manner.
