Korey Abbi is a Métis aboriginal belonging to the Wet’suwet’en First Nation, born at Victoria General Hospital. He studied at the University of Victoria, and soon attended Victoria General Hospital as a Resident. He was offered a spot within Site-65 as a Senior Doctor and accepted the position. Korey has been described as an “Eager, Charismatic doctor who finds time to care about the little things.”
Korey currently holds the position of Medical Consultant within the Specialist Procedures department as their Surgeon. His current project is the expansion of surgery information available to Senior Doctors. Korey’s been employed within the foundation for two years.
Korey Abbi currently specializes within Internal Medicine, his subspecialties being with Pulmonary Diseases, Gastroenterology, and Infectiology.

Honestly, I’m not sure what to put here. I don’t know how big of a difference in what you do roleplay wise really is compared to when I was applying for consultant. I got to see what consultants do and was able to know what I could do, but you don’t really get a look into what DOMs do or at least I haven’t. I'd still love to do my surgery stuff but obviously DOM stuff comes first.

- Well, since the opening of the position of Director of Medicine I’ve had five people approach me and say I should apply for Director of Medicine. So, I’ve given it some thought and I’ve noticed we have a bad track record of DoMs not being that active and I want to change that. No offense to any DoMs current or past, but that has been a bit of an issue. There’s also been a thing of no real direction given on where to take things and I hopefully will fix that. Besides those two reasons, I just really like medical. I can’t think of another base department that gets to do the stuff we get up to sometimes and I honestly really cherish it.
- I’ve done every medical procedure available to me at my current level twice over, I’ve written documents detailing how to go about surgeries, and I apparently have the leadership skills to back it up. I am a very dedicated person as some people may know, and I want to dedicate myself to improving the medical department the best I can. I have an utterly undying love for medical and the stuff we get up to, as previously mentioned. I know I have the skills to improve this department and I want to show it. I've never been good at describing myself positively so I'm sorry for the (in my opinion) short section here.
- To lead, oversee, and manage the Medical Department. This can be talking to other departments and setting up policies, negotiating terms for different usages of SCPs, approving medical documentation, giving out project ideas or directing the direction of any speciality projects, holding Leadership Meetings and dictating the direction of the Medical Department as a whole.
