Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications:
This is my first GM application.
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why:
1 fear rp warning, running away from 106 while under gunpoint.
How many hours can you be on everyday:
I don't really have a set time, But I'd say anywhere from 3 to 8 hours on a regular day.
Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:
No.
Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:
I am an artist, i've done several pieces of fanart for people in this community as well as a few commision pieces.
This can be used really well when it comes to re-texturing, as well as graffiti/posters in game. EG: The graffity event in the closet near 049.
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
Summer cleaning:
The ISD wing is ovverun with paperwork!! It's everywhere.. it fills the halls.
It's a mess, and someone has to clean it. Maybe janitorial can get involved, maybe the whole site volunteers. But then again they still run the same risk of infoleaks and people snooping. So the decision might be made to keep this entirely within ISD. Describe what paperwork is in each pile. It might be arrest warrants, POI investigations, things you generally wouldn't want leaving ISD wing. Slowly delete props as the ISD "work" on cleaning the paperwork/sorting through it. Give out actual document copies, maybe..
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
Shedding season:
GOC has caught 323, they're of course doing their usual sampling. However it is shedding season, and the deer is acting more irritated than before. Scratching his horns against the walls and floor. Making sampling difficult. Eventually there's a snap. And the antlers pop off, they're now on the floor (spawned in). What can they do, anyway? The antlers are collected for exhamination. 323 no longer has antlers on his head. It seems rather welcoming to touch, the area around its new horns itchy.. this might be a good moment to learn a little more about this anomaly without loosing fingers.
Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
Oh dear, the base is ENTIRELY snowed in!! The snow had somehow made its way all the way down to the big blast door.. and its filled the whole stair case! It blocks anyone from entering and leaving. Nobody is there to open the front gate for aid. So now, they have to find a different way in.
The radios are working, but the connection is weak and choppy. They must now cooperate with people outside in hope of rescue. Calling over comms, who will respond first? Foundation? CI? Either way, their supplies aren't great, and the power is cut off, causing the bunker to be cold, freezing even. Bundled together, communicating over comms. They have to try and help dig a hole out from their side. While uncertain if aid is waiting on the other side. Now, they have to consider how to prevent this in the future.
Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
You hear news of a very important POI that will be arriving at the foundation via... ground transport?! What fools!!
Obviously, they need to learn to not do that. CI can now investigate further as to how this ground transport is arranged, perhaps try and figure out the frequency. Deepcovers can head into the foundation, gather information. People can scout near the roads leading to pinewood and wait to see if there is a car approaching.
Well, then. Time to intercept this and take a hostage.
They can set traps on the road. Spikes and such. Arrange an ambush. The GM would help with spawning in the spikes. Maybe a knocked over tree.
They get into a shootout, can NU7 arrive in time? Or will this hostage be taken succesfully? And once taken.. can they get him to talk? Rumors say he knows things they've been wanting to know.. And on top of that, might fetch them a hefty price for a safe return. So, torture for information, or keep safe for money..? Or maybe both.
Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
A man appears in the foundation. Starting from the garage. Carrying a diary and not reacting to anyone who attempts to speak to him. He eventually rests the diary on a desk, and doesn't react when somebody takes it.
Notes attempting to talk to him are ignored. He talks to himself as if nobody was there, and doors misteriously open for him. Now both MTF, RSD and DEA have to figure out why, and how.. SCP-451 has left site 19. And try and establish contact to somehow get him back to his rightful site with the help of SA. As he wanders the site, heading to places.. He cannot really be blocked. Standing in his way isn't a solution. And he's a breach risk, with his blatand disregard for protocol. He seems surprised to see 173 here.. for some reason?
Contacts with site-19 are slow, but they seem concerned about this situation just as much as anyone. They suggest that people of site-65 find a way to trap 451 in a movable container for ease of transport. Now only to find a way to lure him into one..
Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea:
A sinkhole has opened in the middle of pine ridge, to.. core sector! Now, this isn't really convenient is it? Foundation have to set up defenses.. as well as dealing with snow and.. all the rocks that have near entirely covered the lower area of core sector. Everything is covered in dirt and snow down there. And the cold wind is blowing into the foundation. UNGOC can offer to help with this situation, and as far as CI know, this might be a convenient way in if caught early before guard posts are set up inside.
Obviously, Engineering is already working on figuring out exactly what caused this cave in. While MTF set up guard posts within core sector. The bridge might not be stable, its a risk to walk across it. It can be blocked off, or maybe people can ignore it.. leading to a further cave in.
Either way. News of this quickly spread. And the weak bridge is turning into a combat zone. Not to mentions researchers unable to do their tasks. Trapped within the 'worse' side of core sector. This needs to be fixed quickly.
What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.
For me, it's always been the feeling of being ignored. I'm not exactly sure wwhat the "typical" answers would be. (Maybe big boy lag...?)
Everyone strives for acknowledgement, sure yeah. Especially in roleplay, you want to interact. So events where it's very clear you're just.. not wanted there/not needed will suck. Especially as someone who was involved in events as a d-class.
Though im thankful this hasn't happened to me yet. I can imagine it'd suck major ass to be excluded, even if maybe unintentionally.
Maybe you have to chase an entity, and everyone has potent so the GM has to compensate by also speeding up, but you don't have potent. So you're left behind, and now you can't find anyone and they're not answering comms. It'd certainly sting. Even if its not exactly a single persons fault.
And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?
I want to host silly little events on my silly little gmod scp roleplay server to make my silly little gmod roleplay more fun and engaging.
