Why are you applying for Security Captain?:
I am applying for the position of Security Captain as I have noticed there is currently a shortage of Captains present on site. I believe I would be a valuable addition to the role and capable of supporting both the team and the wider department effectively. One of my main priorities would be to ensure that all members of GSD feel heard and supported. I will ensure any personnel can approach with any concerns, issues, or matters that require attention, whether it involves operational challenges or behaviour that needs to be reported and addressed appropriately. Maintaining clear communication and a professional environment is something I take seriously. My goal as Security Captain would be to help guide GSD in a positive direction and contribute to strengthening the department’s reputation and effectiveness. I want to help ensure that expectations are clear, professionalism is upheld, and the team continues to develop in a constructive way.

What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
If I got the chance to become a Security Captain my main goal would be to help the GSD team become an more productive team. I want to be a part of making the GSD department a great place to be. I think that having a leader talking to people and treating each other with respect is really important if we want the GSD department to be successful. I also want to help the GSD team keep getting better by supporting the people who work there being fair when problems come up and finding solutions that work for everyone in the GSD team. My goal is to be a part of a GSD department that is organised and respected and always trying to improve. I want to make sure that the people who work in the GSD department are heard and valued. The GSD team is important, to me. I want to help the GSD department become the best it can be.

What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
  • Commanding Security Personnel
  • Maintaining D-Block to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Help Cadets to ensure they follow their line of codex.
  • Hosting regular try outs for Heavy/Riot weapon licenses.
  • Conduct sweeps and searches during a Code-2 in progress.
  • Make sure there is enough GSD to allow researchers to commute to their tests.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Following distinguished service with the Special Air Service, an unnamed operative was quietly flagged by Foundation intelligence after demonstrating exceptional performance during multiple high-risk counter-terrorism operations. During one particular deployment in ███████, the operative encountered an anomalous object later classified under the jurisdiction of the SCP Foundation. The individual successfully secured the area and prevented civilian exposure before Foundation retrieval teams arrived.
The operative was transferred to a secure Foundation installation in Canada, designated Site-█████, where they underwent accelerated indoctrination and training in anomalous containment procedures, internal security doctrine, and classified operational protocols.
Due to prior experience in special operations and leadership capability, the operative was assigned to assist with internal site security operations and rapid containment response teams. Several early assignments involved securing sensitive containment zones within Sector-██, and assisting during an internal incident involving SCP-███. Personnel records indicate the operative has maintained an exemplary service record since recruitment. Access to further details regarding deployments, containment incidents, and cross-site operations has been RESTRICTED LEVEL 4 CLEARANCE REQUIRED.END OF FILEDOCUMENT CLASSIFICATION: TOP SECRET – UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS WILL RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION 🔒⚠️

As a recent UK-US transfer and someone who has played since 2023 I can't say I've ever seen you on either site, ever? Have you had any previous names for the roles you held that might be more recognizable?

Edit to add that your application however is really great 👍
I was called BinBong I could have some other aliases on the UK server as I have started to recently play more often due to a blacklist: https://civilnetworks.net/community/threads/blacklist-amnesty-miamma.30750/ involving me and my brother. Thankfully it was a mistake and the staff said they were even unsure why we were blacklisted, and unfortunately the highest I ever received was corporal in NU7. Shortly after I took a break and got blacklisted for whatever reason. I am trying to become a little more known in the US servers by doing the right things and climbing the ranks and I appreciate the comment as it took me a while to do aha😅

Hey man, it's good to see excitement over the captain role. I think you may have done this a bit wrong, however.

You need to be apart of the US-GSD's sergeant team, before then applying as a captain for it as well.

I recommend you work on getting your riot control license, as that is a requirement for the sergeant tryout.
