Why should you be unbanned: So, I'm not sure what happened here. Previously, I was had my own channel in the discord where I was allowed to post stuff related to the Site-65 Podcast. We were freely able to talk about the podcast on the Discord and no one had any issue. This went away last year and since then I was disciplined for advertisement in the main Discord (by various members) for posting about the podcast. If you are not aware reading this, there is a podcast hosted by me and others on site that takes place "in character" and has been running for almost 3 years. Sometime last year the podcast was sour'd on and since then it's been hard to promote. Back in January, when the previous episode was posted, I was given a ban for like 1 week for making a simple message about the podcast. I was told "Hey, cant include links in the post and no spamming". Fair enough, So I stop posting about the podcast until today where we record a new episode and i make a single (I want it to be known I made one post only) post in mess hall that basically amounts too "Hey, new episode dropped, go listen if you want". No links, no donations, no spamming, a single post. I was banned within 10 minutes. I don't think it was done maliciously as the person banning me (whom I have not really interacted with) may not have been aware of the podcast history with CN but I did what was asked of me. No spamming, No asking for Donations, no links. Still I was banned. I don't think that's very fair. I don't make really any money for the podcast (full disclose, I've made less than $100 over almost 3 years) and if anything the podcast is just an extension of our characters from CN. I don't know what has changed or why its so taboo now but I don't think I should be banned over it. As far as im aware, Ventz is ok with the podcast existing (I have DM's) so I don't understand why it's an issue. If its a spam thing then that doesn't apply here because I made a single post. If its a donation thing then I'll just stop taking donations (even though I don't make anything). If its a link thing that also doesn't apply as no links were shared.
