For how long have you played on our servers?: Not for long, but as soon as I started playing, I was super interested in how everything was so well thought out and put together, especially pertaining to balancing PvP combat.
What country are you from?: United States
Time Zone: CDT (-5:00)
Do you have a mic?: Yes, and I can use it as much as needed.

Is this your first application for Developer? If not, link previous ones: This is my first application.

Have you received any bans?: Not on Civil Networks.

How confident are you with Blender/Maya/3DSMax (or any other software that applies) (Rate yourself 1-10 using one rating guide): Including some other software such as " Autodesk Substance Painter" that I'd like to apply to this rating guide, my main experience and expertise is in Blender. Using one rating guide I would rate myself around 7/10 including both of those applications. I've been using Blender for 4-5 years now since I have taken school and gotten my 2-year certification in Animation at a technical school, my experience mainly focuses on hard surface modeling and texturing, making sure the textures and topology are the best they can be and within the constraints of the engine it's on, and what the project is targeting. Besides that, I am also pursuing college and beginning a bachelor's program in Game Art.

Do you have previous experience as an Artist for GMod?: Yes, I have some experience with Crowbar and VTFedit, enough to definitely figure out what needs to be done to integrate what needs to be done in-game and uploaded through workshop or through other alternative methods.

Why do you want to be a Artist? What can you help us with?: I want to expand the realism of the SCP-RP server and other future servers of Civil Networks, that includes reworking older models or models ripped from other games, ensuring that they are optimized to the best of the source engine and my ability, and definitely ensuring that FPS is high for players and gameplay is as smooth as possible.

Which server(s) on Civil Networks do you play on and which ones would you most prefer to map for? Have you made or edited any models before? If so attach some images showcasing your model or edit: I would most prefer to work currently on the SCP-RP servers but wouldn't mind working on the Star Wars server either. I will attach some of my work, just know that it is unrelated to SCP-RP or Star Wars. Please be aware that not all of these models were made specifically for a game engine, nor may showcase the best topology. Many were made as art projects and a showcase of artistry and creative ability. I can expand on any piece as needed, thank you.

List any ideas of new models or edits for CN that you would like to work on: There is a few things that do look out of place, I think the keycards could use some work on SCP-RP, I personally would redo the textures, I'm sure the models themselves and their topology are just fine.

How confident are you with QC? (Rate yourself 1-10 using rating guide): I've definitely edited and created the files in the past to edit models for past servers out of curiosity. I'm definitely rusty now but I remember a lot of what it entailed, especially involving body groups and weights. This might not be as important, but I still strive to be at my best regardless of if most models would be using the same rig and animations. I would rate myself around 5/10 on QC files.

Do you have any experience with Crowbar?: Yes, I've used it many times in the past to import and export models from Garry's Mod and other source engine games.

How many hours can you commit to developing per week?: Around 10 hours a week, I certainly don't struggle to find time to do things I'm passionate about, that being art.

Why do you want to be a Developer? What can you help us with?: Very similar to the artist reasoning, my workflow follows a logical flow of making sure optimization comes first, then looks, then how the textures are going to apply to this and fit into what's already been shown in-game.

Do you have any models that WOULD be applicable for a game engine that you could showcase? Just from pure personal interest.
Ah sorry, I accidentally attached the wrong image for the geometry of the storage crate, here is a triangulated version that I usually show with the vertices, tris, and faces listed in the corner. This model was indeed originally made for an unreal engine game project I was volunteering on with a team of other people that never came out. I tried to keep the vertices low for the reasonable thought that no one is looking at it THAT close and it's just my favorite thing to do regardless. It is missing some details like some roundness that the "full" vertices version of 109,000 is missing for looking nicer in a showcase, but all that isn't needed for the average player.
