Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?
The reasons as to why i am applying for the position of Security Chief is that believe I am ready to take another step into leading a department once more. I want to show my superiors that not only do i want my reputation back, but to show you my devotion & determination that i have what it takes to once again lead a department.
Furthermore, i have many plans for GSD going forward that i am going to share with you all;
Number 1 - Construct an agreement with Site Administration & ISD regarding a new legislation for General Security. This will be officially called the GSD Empowerment Act. During my time in ISD & GSD, I have noticed that GSD authority is close to rock bottom, with us only having jurisdiction over D-Block, according to the ZJP & D|O&J. This, is a complete waste of GSD potential as we are the entire sites main security department, hence General Security. But at this moment in time I have seen no advances made to change this, with the Chain of Command listing all GSD other that Captain's -> Chiefs as Security staff, so in a technicality, MTF Enlisted like PVT's can actually issue orders or commands to positions in GSD like Sergeants or Containment Units. This also goes the other way, with GSD Cadet technically being able to order a Sr/Bio Researcher.
My plan for this Empowerment act is simple. Give GSD the respect they so deserve, We SHOULD have the priority over Site Security.
Number 2 - As marrio put it well in the last meeting, there are talks of increasing the requirements for GSD Captains to combat the lack of trainings & general inactivity, this is a must do & needs to be made soon. We do not want GSD constantly huddled in D-Block at all times, but spread over the site, patroling areas & taking full priority over combative scenarios. Furthermore, i have been receiving reports of members of ISD, IE/IPD & MTF trying to stop GSD patrols, to keep them stationed in D-Block. Please re-educate yourself in this, We have or should have the sole duty to patrol & investigate most areas of the site, bar ECO & F3. I want GSD stationed & patrolling from Point A -> point B, from HCZ, up to lobby & keeping our non-combatives safe at the same time.
Number 3 - This is an immediate change, but a Sergeant purge is greatly needed if not already in the works. in being on site, I have seen approximately 12, out of the 27 recorded SGT's that are on. This is not good & overflow must be corrected. Included in this is some External Work. the roster will need a quick update as well as most GSD documents which are now being looked at.
Number 4 - The most important change to improve GSD status is a consistent wave of roelplay within GSD & cross-department roleplay. This needs to increase as we are losing our numbers due to GSD players getting bored & moving to different departments. To tackle this, I have an idea that I previously used as an ISD director, which was to add a revised activity log that with be done my Captains every month, needing them to list any and all RP, documents, work permits & trainings that they can recall. Myself & Hersh created this, which it allowing us to root out any Inspector or commissioner not producing the standards & basics that we require. I would like to bring this back so we could actually have a system of what Captains should be doing.
This time around, I plan to focus heavily on providing GSD the as much Roleplay as possible. To do that, i need the trust of Site Administration & defecto Site Inspectorate with IPD in that we could step off the Red brick road so that GSD can experience more creative roleplay, this would entail large numbers of GSD in roleplay, which may cause an imbalance of numbers in D-Block, but is for the benefit of improving GSD status with the site. Though IPD being a part of GSD is just for the AO classification, their presence & more so, their respect is much need to accommodate this, which i plan to discuss with them about.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?:
The reasons as to why i am best suitable for the position of Chief is as follows;
Roleplay
To list of some of the Roleplay i have done in my tenure, I have done some Roleplay as a practicing attorney, known to GSD Leadership is our resident Saul Goodman, That in the 5 cases i have been an attorney on, most have been against members of GSD. I have had a lot of positive feedback from the folks was roleplaying with not only during the tribunals but leading up to them as well. I definitely plan on doing way more Attorney RP as absolutely love being in tribunals so please hit me up if you need a seasoned attorney to fight the evil ISD.
Recently, around the beginning of this week, an E-11 randomly gave me D-Class turned pigeon. At this point, he was known as General Security's pet. I began taking it on numerous walks & even started bugging medical to have the pigeon given a full examination, to which the consultant & a Combat medic refused. Tried to get ISD involve who also did not wanna help, so i convinced another Combat medic to do the exam. The Consultant saw this & well, stabbed my pigeon until death. Its important that all roleplay, goofy or not is still roleplay, regardless of second opinion or not.
Other mentions of Roleplay include, Passive roleplay such as patrols & trainings, recently last week. i grabbed a hand-full of GSD & patrolled thoughout LCZ, LLCZ & HCZ, luckily without any resistance from E-11. during this was giving consistent callouts for such as corner checking, location updates & issueing changes of patrol leaders frequently.
Leadership & Skills
Being in SA, EC & IA/ISD taught me that leadership has two sides, being a mentor to all who need it & having the greatest understanding of all required fields. I have definitely accomplished this, training & mentoring many people to become high ranking positions. i am a strong & capable leader & i have the necessary skills and qualities to lead this department & provide them with a great experience during their time in GSD.
Currently in General Security i am the leader of the Security Guardians, which is responsible for escorting site personnel around & being their shield. From this my roleplay consists of the escorts i have done as well as the folks i have trained for SG, which has me be the escort & the trainee be my protector. at this point I would be deliberately entering dangerous areas to see how they handle a clueless escort.
My previous position was cut short very bad & those reasons were made without any evidence provided to back them. this time, my full focus as a chief will be a more Roleplay oriented strategy, while at the same time, fixing the currently issues within GSD. i am more than capable of doing this.
Experience & Knowledge
Being here for the almost 4 years, i have experienced changes to most departments & i feel, my tenure in many Sr Cl4 roles, which required me to stay on top of every departments policies, procedures & duties has given me the required knowledge to succeed in most of those positions & if asked, i'd tell you the reasons for my 2 removed positions, but one of them i still dispute to this day.
Getting back on course, since being in GSD i have stayed up to date with any & all GSD related changes. There are a lot of stuff that does need updated such as the in-game documents which are almost a year old & relevant documents about work permits & internships being scattered around offices. this needs to be sorted, which i am more than happy to do.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security in RP?:
In Roleplay, a Chief of Security is responsible for the following;
Basic CL4 required responsibilities such as leading site wide emergencies, controling Blastdoors & if it comes to it, organising site protocols.
As the highest GSD on site, you are responsible for the safety & wellbeing of all General Security Personnel. This includes observing all GSD of all ranks & assigning them to their best fields of abilities.
Arranging departmental & inter-departmental meetings to discuss GSD concerns, questions & improvements
Mentoring any & all GSD who require it as well as create teachings for GSD on their procedures.
Observing potential candidates for leadership positions such as Captains & Sergeants.
Creating Roleplay for the benefit & entertainment of GSD as well as any department who interacts with them.
