What does this suggestion change/add/remove:<br>
I don’t know if cigarettes are even a thing on the server but I couldn’t find them inside the facility anywhere. This suggestion is to:
- Add them, if they’re not already in the game (I can’t find them if they are)
- If they’re already in the game, give D class access to them.
Add cigarettes to vendors, in D block and in facility staff vendor locations to both act as a black market currency in D block and to enhance character presentation & general atmosphere.
Cigarettes could be:
- Traded for scrap, food or contraband such as weapons, assets, etc.
- Maybe used to give off a puff of smoke or held in the mouth or something.
- Given as quest rewards from the quest guy.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?: Cigarettes being incentivised as an asset probably hasn’t been suggested yet.
Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- D class canonically use cigarettes as currency.
- I can chuff a Marlboro red to calm down after watching a 5 digit SCP eviscerate my former cellmate in manners beyond my previous comprehension on the structural integrity of the human body.
- Scientists and other personnel can use them as incentives for D class personnel (This would work I would fall for this)
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Maybe trying to find a way to get these to work as an item could be more trouble than it’s worth.
- Smoking le bad or something
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted?:
Cigarettes are canonically something that are considered a form of currency in D class society due to it basically just being prison and it being the closest thing to a luxury they have.
