What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I could say my vast experience on the server, but I just find that too boring, so I would say that it is the way I can communicate with others. I tend to be aware of the position and how much sway the position has over others, so I usually don't get myself in trouble.
I then act very well in what people could call "stressful" situations. Over the years of playing, I have come to the realization that those situations are one of the most fun and engaging.
I understand the delicate balance between O5s and the EC. It is very important not to overstep and not get the attention of the Committee (Even though that can also be a very fun sort of RP), generally speaking. It is very important to stay in the shadows when doing nefarious stuff as an Assistant to the O5s. That doesn't mean that you just have to stay quiet and ominous the entire time. There is a lot of activities you can do publically, like Q&A stands (Some cover up things you have to come up with can spiral into some fun RP), Competitions, etc.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
Completing the orders from the O5
Completing orders is one of the most important duties of an OSA. The orders can range from simple sampling ones, upto the orders that require to put some more time into, such as gathering information on someone. If the order requires some usage of force, they can use the services of Alpha 1 if it is allowed by the Council.
Be the Council's ears and eyes in their absence
Another very important duty. Since the O5 are the most important and powerful people on the site, they must be informed about almost anything major that happens around the site in their absence. What this can also include is the documentation brought by the researchers to the Council; if it is a big termination test or overall tests that may permanently damage the SCP, it should be reported to the Council, so that they can make a calm decision before coming onto site.
Regular CL4 Duties
Those are Closing blast doors during emergencies, Advanced Armory authorization (If highest in the AA line of authorizations), Tesla Activations, etc.
Represent the O5 Council / Keep up the facade of the Inspectorate
Always keeping up the facade of being only Site Inspectorate and not the O5 Council is the most vital part, when it comes to the security of the O5s, so naturally keeping up the illusion is paramount to protecting the O5s interests. Representing in their absence is also important, since making stupid decisions reflects badly on the Council as a whole.
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
After I'll finish my final exams this upcoming week, I will again have a lot of time to spend. I always enjoyed the server, and after taking a little break and getting on the server again as a CL3, I have realised how much I enjoy spending time here. Out of all of my Jr. CL4 roles, the non-combative role that I have enjoyed the most is by far the OSA, so I want to do that again.
Next reason is that I want to experience the SC side of the server again. Many people might think it doesn't belong on the server, but I have always enjoyed it. The rivalry between EC and O5 is one of the most fun. Always trying to find leverage on the other side of the Command and occasionally working together, both of these I enjoyed in the past and I believe I would be able to enjoy this time around as well.
I might have been back only for a short while, but I believe that in that short while, I have learned all I needed to from the CL3 perspective and am ready for Jr. CL4.
