For how long have you played on CG SCP: played a little a few years ago, but have been playing more constant for about the past 6 months.
Age: 30
In what country are you located?: US
Time zone: PST
Character name(s): Mason Weskier
Civilian name: -
What server are you applying for?: SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: Specialist Researcher
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: No, am good.

Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?: I want to help out RSD more. I originally felt like i didnt need the role because I still wanted to push projects and run as mission support closer than overseeing others. But, as I am the nightshift RSD member, iv come to realize that a higher ranked RSD member is needed in those very later and early hours. The biggest issue is those coming around from the UK server and not having an upper researcher on to provide signoffs, assistance, or punishments when needed.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?: My main focus has been mission support. Iv written up many new documents to help RSD and simplify and/or clean up that information for new researchers. Im all for large projects, have conducted them by myself before and im drafting one up currently. Iv helped Jacob (head of RSD) out as much as I can in my current role, but i feel like i need to be somewhere more to help him and the rest of RSD more.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?: 4 of the 6 iv submitted. An excellent document to me is a document that tries to stay within the lines of the provided Template, but is understandable if they cannot. Proper punctuation and grammar. vocab to me can enhance the official or immersion of the document if done correctly. The information must be clear, forward, and on point. A good chunk of points relate to formatting and look. If its hard to read, follow, or blends points together too closely; Then the document would not be something I would feel is presentable.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?: From what iv understood, they are to be a backbone to RSD operations, Quality control, Assisting those under them, Clearance 4 tests and oversight, and helping the Dpt. Head as much as possible. I am already helping new Jr Researchers onboard, assisting baseline researchers with understanding what they can do, signing off on Sr. Researcher sampling tasks. But also creating a 'Lines-of-Research' document to help Jrs to Srs discover what they can do and pick up a line of research rather than to test just to test. Iv reworked the standard Study Template (in review), made a pocket-guide so handy info is there when needed. And im still going.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Mason Weskier started at Burger King learning how to manage people and events... Then later... Desired to help others with as little direct confrontation as possible while working at the Foundation. Going into research seemed like alot of work, but the RSD would show it lacked some polish in its operations, documents, and clear paths of opportunities.
Working with the years that he accumulated with managing others, paper pushing, and documentation creation - Weskier applied himself to show what he could do by making the 'Behavioral Assessment Report - Riot Prevention Initiative' to help curve D-Class Rioting by trying to discover their issues in D-Block. This quickly turned into a site-wide 'Behavioral Assessment Report' (BAR) conducting behavioral and information gathering across RSD, ISD, E-11, GenSec, and D-Class. The final report has been posted across site in each corresponding department.
This report started from his time as a Jr. to his Sr. days as a Researcher. And with the creation of the Pocket-Guide, repeated help of large projects, successfully leading and completing 2 large Ethics provided projects, and assisting those equal and under him at RSD - He was then finally elevated to a Specialist. He wishes to continue to run as mission support and move up to where he can help as much as he can by becoming an Executive in the RSD. Working with other Researchers at all levels to help them succeed.
