None.

Why are you applying for Site Director?

I am applying for Site Director to lead the Site and help to guide and better the Site as a whole. I have gathered enough experience through roleplay, meetings and discussions to feel confident that I will be able to handle the work and problems of the Site Director position. I want to use this position to bring Site Administration into a better position and help it reach place from where it can guide others much more efficiently. To achieve this, I have multiple plans to implement that will push Site Admin into exactly that position. One of those plans would be monthly interviews with Jr CL4 and whitelisted CL3 positions to effectively assess the state of a department from their point of view. Another plan of mine is to push out projects that require SA to work together more closely with their departments and share roleplay which has not been done in quite some time sadly. These are only two things that I plan to implement as Site Director but consider as important ones.

What makes you suitable for Site Director over Site Advisor?:

Throughout my time as a Senior CL4 starting from Director of Research, I have learned many things, handled different situations and most importantly, continued to improve upon myself. For me, SA is about mainly assisting departments in their responsibilities and guiding them whenever they need it. If my assistance was needed, I provided it to the best of my abilities. As a person, I would describe myself as an unbiased person that focuses on the solution rather than the problem itself. When it comes to teamwork, I always communicate my opinion and views to the rest and try to achieve the best compromise for all sides involved. Teamwork is also a very important aspect and one that I emphasize very much as nobody can do all the work in a good way alone. When it comes to my work inside of Site Administration, I focus on the more “behind the scenes” work of it in which I have contributed a lot. This includes creating the new version of the Foundation Ban Logs, elevation registry as well as the chemical sheet on the Site Hub, working on several rosters of different departments and maintaining documents like the Site Hub every day for example. Aside from this, I have also created roleplay as a member of SA through projects like Project Tatcher, orders like for E-11 and random situations on-site which I plan to continue even in the position of Site Director. I want to bring more roleplay to Site Admin through more projects that bring SA and the departments closer together.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:

Site Administration is primarily tasked with managing the Site with most of its departments and works together with Foundation Command to effectively achieve this. They oversee most departments (except ISD, A/O) and appoint their department leaders/MTF Commanders. Site Administration assists when departments/MTF have severe issues and work together towards a solution. In addition, they manage the relations between departments and act as a liaison when relations begin to break down. The same goes for relations with other Groups of Interests which they manage in cooperation with DEA. Another responsibility is to maintain site documents like the Site Hub, Sampling Guidelines or the Site Access Guide. On-site, SA can authorize a bunch of things like usage of AA, KOS past airlock, raids on other GoI together with GoI on-site, D-Block sweeps and passive breaches.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

[General Information]

NAME: Ryan Stekken

LOCATION: Site-65

CLEARANCE LEVEL: 4

ASSIGNMENT: Site Manager

Ryan Stekken is part of the Site-65 Site Administration in the position of Site Manager. He has been oversight over multiple departments including his most recent time with E-11 and been part of a couple of projects in Site-65. As a Director of Research, Ryan contributed to major changes inside the Research Department. While some of his work underwent good responses, his involvement in some previous incidents left some uncertainties. Multiple files have been attached that are connected to these mentioned incidents.

[Application Interview – Excerpt 1]

Site Director █████:Hello, Department Director. How has your day been?

Ryan: “Good, thank you. And yours?

Site Director █████: “Not so bad. You are here for your interview, right?

Ryan: “Yes.

Site Director █████: “Please take a seat then. So, I am gonna ask you a series of questions. You can take your time with your answers, just answer truthfully.

Ryan: “Got it.

Site Director █████: “Then let’s get to it, shall we?

[Application Interview – Excerpt 3]

Site Director █████: “In your personnel file, it says that you have been involved in some kind of incident. Could you tell me about what happened?

Ryan: “You mean my experiment and the following breach?

Site Director █████: “Not that one. I’m talking about your discussion with the Council and its aftermath.

Ryan: “Do we have to go through that?

Site Director █████: “Yes, we have to.

Ryan: “Fine.

[Audio Excerpt - #41/85]

O5-6: “So you really believe that? That this will fail?

Ryan: “Yes, I do. This has the potential to not only just fail but reach the entirety of the Site.

O5-6: “On what basis do you make that claim?

Ryan: “On the basis of experience. I have done tests similar to this and all of them ended poorly, one of them even in a small incident. So, please just listen to me. Don’t do this.

O5-6: “Those tests failed because of the limited resources at your disposal. That, of course, is not of your fault but what we have is more than enough to limit the damage it could do.

Ryan: “You don’t understand. This is something that shouldn’t be meddled with.

O5-6: “And you don’t understand the severity of the situation we’re in. We have no other choice but to carry this out. With or without you. It will be done.

[Application Interview – Excerpt 4]

Site Director █████: “So you wanted to stop the test, is that right?

Ryan: “Yes. And failed.

Site Director █████: “Well, they know better now hopefully. Please continue.

[Audio Excerpt - #66/31]

Ryan: “Please, come in and take a seat. Thanks for taking the time.

Site Advisor: “Don’t thank me. If you call, I will help.

Ryan: “Well, there is one. Have you heard about the test that is being carried out as of right now?

Site Advisor: “Yes and I know of your discussion with -6. You know that we can’t change that.

Ryan: “I know. But could you at least let them know again? ‘Cause this is one hell of a shitshow we are gonna experience.

Site Advisor: “What do you mean?

Ryan: “I have done some tests of smaller scale and danger. One of those tests almost resulted in a breach.

Site Advisor: “How bad could this be? Realistically.

Ryan: “With their scale? It could inhabit the entire Site in a matter of hours.

Site Advisor: “Are you sure about this?

Ryan: “One-hundred percent.

Site Advisor: “Okay, here’s what’s gonna happen. I will talk to my superiors and get them to put some pressure on them. Even with all their power, they aren’t invincible.

Ryan: “Thank you. I hope you get through with-

*multiple gunshots are audible*

Site Advisor: “What the hell?!

Ryan: “Have they really done it?

[Application Interview – Excerpt 5]

Site Director █████: “You bunkered in your office?

Ryan: “Yeah, I mean there was no other choice.

Site Director █████: “Okay and how did you manage to get out?

Ryan: “Through cooperation and luck, I guess.

Ryan: “Are we here?

Site Advisor: “Yes. Close the door!

Ryan: “Finally. And now? Can we call for help from here?

Site Advisor: “I can try. ERT, can you read me?

*radio chatter*

Site Advisor: “We are currently located inside the Emergency Operations Center. Are you able to evac us from the Site?

*radio chatter again*

Site Advisor: “Okay, good luck.

Ryan: “What did they say?

Site Advisor: “Situations is not clear but they will try later.

Ryan: “Later? What does later mean?

Site Advisor: “A couple of hours…

Ryan: “Fuck… Wait. Can you contact Medical from here?

[Application Interview – Excerpt 6]

Site Director █████: “So you, as the Director of Research, instructed the Medical Department to make a chemical solution using medicine that was distributed around the Site by ERT, right?

Ryan: “Yes.

Site Director █████: “Did it help?

Ryan: “Help? It exterminated it.

Site Director █████: “What exactly do you mean by exterminate?

Ryan: “What it did was accelerate the citric acid cyclus which…

Site Director █████: “English, please.

Ryan: “Okay, the chemical essentially put their metabolism into overdrive which eventually starved them to death.

Site Director █████: “How did you come up with this?

Ryan: “Experience and a lot of help from Medical.

Site Director █████: “Do you have any questions before we wrap this up?

Ryan: “No, not really.

Site Director █████: “Then we are done for today. I thank you for your time.
