Adds the ability for gsd containment units to weapon search d class.

GSD SCU can assist normal GSD with D Class testing etc when their is no issues at HCZ/LCZ.

SCU’s purpose is to Assist E-11 in Code 5’s & respond to GoI raids, there would be no reason to give CU’s the weapon checker. The only times were a CU would be in D-Block would be if a TB was called & GSD were sweeping, if an SCP was in D-Block or GSD was heavily understaffed.

You are a Containment Unit not a Guard , you should be assisting E-11 with their duties rather then managing Dclass
Having a CU in D-block is already really disruptive to Dclass (or anyone with a LMG for that matter)

Helps GSD SCU be more versatile.

Containment Units already have ONE OF , IF NOT THE BEST KIT ON FOUNDATIONS SIDE
they really don't need more

Thanks for the responses so far. I just wanted to clarify my position for those who have already commented and for anyone who comments in the future. I understand the common argument that SCU should not be operating in D-Block and should instead be supporting E-11. However, SCU regularly patrols both HCZ and LCZ without E-11 present. For example, Specialist Researchers already have 3.5 clearance. The main reason SCU lacks similar permissions appears to be because the job itself is not whitelisted. Majority of SCU players already assist around D-Block by helping remove D-Class or General Security of D Block when GSD is short-staffed. This usually occurs when E-11 are offline and the HCZ bulky doors are closed. Because SCU lacks "3.5" clearance, they are unable to patrol HCZ when E-11 is offline. The usual response is "just switch to another GSD role," but that doesn't address the fact that many players enjoy playing as SCU specifically because of how versatile the role is. One of the biggest attractions of SCU is that it offers flexibility without requiring the commitment that often comes with whitelisted positions. With that in mind, I don't think granting SCU a simple tool such as weapon searches would be a major issue. SCU already requires two licenses, Level 50 overall, and Level 15 in other levels keeping in mind those two licenses ALSO have requirements of there own to get them. Whilst many players may already meet these requirements, there is still a progression barrier in place.

Well, it is happening, on UK now Primary BD is permanently closed, secondary is also permanently closed but E-11 has a checkpoint there to open the door when someone wants to go to HCZ

All of this would be solved if they just merged all of the search functionality into the E menu rather than having separate tools to do it for no reason.

Agreed, I actually think the E menu is a nice touch, though it does seem finicky at times but it looks good overall.
