What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I believe that I am the best candidate because of my extensive knowledge in SCP lore, my long-time experience on this server, and the vast roles I play. For my knowledge of SCP lore, I've been a fan of the project for years. This has had an impact on me and my knowledge of SCP related topics has almost become a part of me. People around me sigh when I mention SCP
With my experience, despite me having warnings as recent as up to less than a year ago, before then, I was a new player, still learning the foundations of roleplaying on Gmod, and the more recent ones were a cause of my recklessness and temporary lack of activity on the server. I still have gone through a lot on this server, played during many events, and have enjoyed playing on here for a long time. I also have a wide variety of roles I play on-site, including Senior Researcher, Riot Response Unit, MTF E-11, DEA Senior Agent, and mainly ISD investigator. As an investigator it is my duty to uphold the code of ethics and conduct, and that's why I believe I'm the best candidate.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
As an Ethics Committee Assistant, their role is to help ensure that Site operations are conducted efficiently, responsibly, and in accordance with ethical standards. This includes overseeing testing procedures to ensure they are carried out correctly, monitoring staff conduct to prevent unethical treatment of D-Class personnel, coordinating meetings with Ethics Committee members to discuss concerns and policy matters, and supporting the enforcement of the Code of Ethics alongside O-1 and ISD. Their primary objective is to promote accountability, professionalism, and ethical decision-making throughout the facility.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Knox. That's all I was to the Foundation. Just another member of GSD. I worked countless hours having to put up with D-Class. I underwent training to become a member of ISD, and finally left the job I was stuck in. For the rest of my time at the foundation, I did my best to uphold the regulations in which it was my duty to. I patrol the site, looking for personnel disobeying the code of conduct/ethics, and apprehended them. A cog in the machine. Then I was promoted to Investigator. I served this role for a while, I was involved in numerous operations, and I brought attention to Project "Orange Microphone", a program responsible in bringing awareness to ethical standards for D-Class. One day, on site-65, Something happened. A chef called out on comms: "All chefs and tech experts to the cafeteria!". I didn't think it would be good. I immediately ran to the area, expecting to find just a unionisation, but it was a militia. A chef insurgency within our foundation. Every chef in that kitchen was armed to the teeth with knives, rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Myself and a few MTF members were the first responders to the situation, and the chefs declared I made a negotiation with them. I sat down with their leader, attempting to come up with a way to pacify them, getting them to surrender their guns, but they would not obey. An Ethics committee assistant showed up and tried to put an end to the arguing, but was taken hostage and killed in action. All MTF and myself opened fire on hostile chef and arrested the remaining chef and tech experts for treason. After these events unfolded, a message was received. From: The Ethics Committee...
