GENERAL / LONG ANSWER QUESTIONS
Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
For a long time, one of the most common jobs I play on CivilNetworks is ISD. ISD has always been a role I've been obsessed with playing as. I enjoy having a duty of upholding staff professionalism and making sure operations run smoothly without interference, abuse, or disrespect. As an ISD investigator, I've had many opportunities to spread the word of ISD around, and bringing awareness to how personnel are truly meant to be treated. But I feel like I can do more. The reason I am applying for ISD inspector is so I can expand the field in which I can reach, grab the attention of higher ups, have more impactful steps, and be able to teach that skill to others. I also want the opportunity to help train our next line of ISD agents and showing them how to be their best selves while also serving in the interest of Foundation Regulations such as the Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics. What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
What makes me suitable is my long time experience of playing ISD, I've had the role for years now, and sure I haven't consistently played it but whenever I do play on this server I don't go without playing ISD. I have a broad understanding of the FLC, CoC, and CoE. I have a passion to expand, to do better, to reach new heights, to make an impact, to teach, and to keep our site safe from those who wish to go against regulations set by the Ethics Committee. What else makes me suitable is that I have dealt with a vast majority of individuals, including close quarters with the legendary Jack Jingle. I know how to handle other personnel, what charges to do, how to ensure evidence is recorded, how to document events, and how to make appropriate accommodations for new offenders and frequent offenders. What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
What makes an ISD Inspector a true member of ISD is their devotion, clarity, initiative, and knowledge. Inspectors are expected to document important events, stay engaged with department leadership, suggest new ideas, teach new agents and others the way to becoming the best ISD members, being present at locations where offenses may be common, provide support for other ISD or innocent site personnel, and to be fair in all their interactions, whether it's making an arrest, telling someone off, or even just communicating. How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
While I do not have the specific number of roleplay-serving documents I've written overrall, I do currently have possession of 2 major documents that affect roleplay from my view. Those documents include a reiteration of "Project Orange Microphone" and a Site Administration approved lecture I've called the "D-Class Correction Program/Form" in which both these documents serve to make people (specifically targeting D-Class for the time being) to improve on themselves, behave better, and follow site regulations along with a subtle notice to GSD to treat their D-Class... Not poorly. I have also made countless Arrest Reports and Research Documents. [EDIT]Anyways, What I believe makes a document that is important to roleplay high quality is:
1. A way to interact with other individuals (department, specific people, etc).
2. Logging events that can influence future inquiries.
3. Professionalism and Informative
4. Straight to the point + Expansive
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
In roleplay, duties and responsibilities of the ISD Inspector can include:1. Teaching
- As an inspector, one of your duties will be to hand personnel interested in becoming ISD their handbook and test. Once they complete it, it's your duty to ensure they follow regulations including the FLC, Coc and CoE. They'll teach personnel the importance of ISD, Standard procedure, where to station, how to handle situations, how to correctly right documents and arrest reports, and give them opportunities to expand on themselves.
2. Management
- Another duty as inspector is to aid in managing the department. Their goal is to ensure all staff follow guidelines, stay informed, and stay professional. They make large decisions with other inspectors, commissioners, and department directors in making ISD more accessible and improving service to the Foundation.
3. Expanded Duties
- Just because they're higher up than agents and investigators, doesn't mean they shouldn't follow normal duties. They should patrol areas, continue to enforce the FLC, remind personnel of regulations, handle arrest reports, and communicate properly with comms and radio.
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
I am a good leadership position holder because of my expansive experience within the Internal Security Department, being a long time member, it shows I am dedicated to our cause and will do anything to uphold ethics and conduct of the site. During my time as an investigator, I have already done my best to teach agents how to be the best of themselves, reminding about the handbook and it's guidelines, disguises, and explaining opportunities to make an arrest and clear areas of those who would abuse the FLC. I've helped them stay on radios, give them arrest report templates, and have worked with fellow investigators to enforce and give personnel the opportunity for things like lectures. If I were to have more expansive opportunities, I could make a larger impact within my time at ISD and set the Foundation in a good direction. I will be active a lot, will mentor agents-investigators, and work with my colleagues and superiors to improve on myself and the department. Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
