Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I feel like I've grown a big dedication to the medical department. They have showed me a new home. I want to consultant to show the same kindness and dedication I was shown. I want to help anyone that wants to join the medical department how to fit in and do their job while also having fun RP. Plus I was honored to be voted as the doctor of the month! Made me appreciate the medical department more of thinking of me .
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I have done many activities that makes me believe I'm suitable for a higher position than Senior Doctor. After I assisted on the surgery on the Ethics Chairwoman , I knew I wanted to dedicate my free time in a more responsible role as I think I'm ready for that step. I want to share for fun RP with all the doctors in med bay. Aswell as all the consultants that inspired me to apply I want to make them proud! And I was happy when I was the doctor of the month .
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice
I like the therapist part of being a senior doctor for a while, I find talking to different departments quite enjoyable and monitoring them. My number one procedure is the psych eval, my favourite are on SCPs and Gensec people. Making a psych eval involves having the individual be brought into the room for counselling and understanding how they function and their emotions. By following the template and noting everything the patient says, we get to know the patient more and understand how they are. After questioning them we would know if they need further counselling or medication. However I would like to have more work in that department! (In order to understand why gensec the way they are
)
My main reason to be a consultant is to add more psychiatric help i.e more counselling and therapy sessions as that is what I want to become in the medical field
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- To be a motivation for the new members of medbay
- They take initiative actions towards doctors and combat medics
- Train anyone that needs help and wanting to become a medical personnel
- Give the medical license by guiding them through the presentation and the medbay area
- Provide helpful RP
- Showing how the medical department is helpful to other departments i.e research or GSD
- Guide and encourage the doctors to join researchers on their experiments -be a good example to others
- Do no wrong!!
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Nora always had a regret in her life from not being close to her brother, she was a troubled child that, as soon as she became a teen, she left her estranged family to be on her own. She committed heinous acts towards criminal men for her joy, it caused her to be admitted as a D class in the foundation. In her first days she added commotion as she didn’t care whether she died or lived.
After being admitted to the foundation she was reunited with none other than her brother Pater Mantis, she was ecstatic to finally be a good sister and not abandon her brother any more. She knew he was the only one that wont judge her for her past and stick by her. They became interns together, her in Site Admin while he joined GSD. Life was going well! Until the unbelievable happened. When she looked away from her brother, believing he would be safe with his captains. Sadly he was kidnapped and killed by an unidentified person. She was too late to save him as she didn’t have the knowledge to do so, it was her final mistake. After losing her brother she made it her life goal to never lose someone she cared about again. She did her best to learn how to heal people not only with physical injuries but also the mental one that cannot be shown. She will never let that incident happen again as long, as its in her control.
