What does this suggestion change/add/remove: Virtual Queue/ Flag On System.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?: No
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2): (See Below)
- Less SCPs sitting AFK for hours on end, more RP involvement from players auto queued.
- More RSD involvement and enjoyment doing specific roles.
- Tasks involving SCPs.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion: Possible Competitiveness Queueing
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: (See Below)
The current state of the actual SCP roleplay is not super intriguing. We hardly ever see any ACTUAL roleplay with the scps and its usually just someone typing in OOC for someone to flag on to an scp so they can sample them. If you want to play an scp your either getting sampled or sitting in your cell afk for 4-5 hours waiting to breach, and you have to stay at your PC with fear of getting kicked from the AFK system. This system or rework would allow players that want to play as an SCP to choose between sitting in their cell, or doing a "Virtual Queue" and allowing them to sit in their respective spot for breaching. While this may make breaching more competitive, it will allow for players to actually DO something while playing as an SCP. In the mean time of them being in their queue, they can get notifications that a player has entered their CC for them to flag on for roleplay, and/or a system can be implemented for RSD to put in a Flag On request through adding a system where they have to submit their testing docs and permissions on the computer system. This may seem like a lot, however I think it adds more to RSD, SCPs, and the overall enjoyment of players. I also think adding missions to RSD involving specific SCPs would be VERY beneficial and it rewarding XP for completing specific roleplay tasks. If you are a queued player and someone flags you on, then you should be given a 180 second timer before you are auto flagged on, and or removed from your queued.
