Why are you applying for Special Agent?
Simply put its the next step for me in DEA after proving I can get people to coordinate with me even if I am hard headed at times, it would also be my first CL4 role and it would allow me to prove myself in a leadership position I would also like to get involved in more diplomacy between GOC as well as internally between departments.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
Since joining the department, I have contributed a good deal towards generating RP for the department. In the time I have been senior agent, I have done a large amount when it comes to orders, most notably being the one about gathering informants for the DEA. The RP I have experienced since joining is something that I have enjoyed being a part of and would like to take the next step and start helping others get involved with the RP currently going on in the department.
Despite the fact that this would be my first CL4 role, I believe I have shown leadership in the roles I have previously held. I have gathered experience in a lot of different roles on the server and believe that I would do a good job using that experience to help myself and others carry out the duties of DEA. Even though I am hard-headed in character, I think that I remain level headed OOC and am always trying to give advice and tips to new people.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
Due to me not previously holding a CL4, I don't have a great deal of experience when it comes to writing documents, however, I have written some using the in-game doc system mainly for RP stuff in GOC. For a document to be good, it needs to have: Good grammar, a nice clear format, and clear information. Documents that are good are very easy to read and easy to find certain bits of information.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
Special Agents have a lot of responsibilities both ICly and OOCly. For the IC side of things, Special Agents are expected to lead DEA in general duties and also be a key figure in diplomacy based RP. This being mainly coordinating meetings with external GoIs and upkeeping good relations and general relation based stuff. Another IC thing that Special Agents would do is conduct both training and inductions for DEA to make sure that those in the department are used to carrying out the duties of DEA and to make sure that those wanting to get into the department are able to.
On an OOC level, DEA are expected to act as the first layer of DEA leadership, this meaning they should be the first points of contact for anyone in DEA that has anything to raise with the leadership / management team and passing information to the directors and managers of DEA. Another vital responsibility of Special agents is to make sure that they are creating good RP for the department to get involved with, this is the most important role of a special agent. They need to make sure that all seniors and agents are given sufficient opportunities to get stuck into some of the diplomacy RP that is taking place at the time and give their inputs on situations.
