What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
I have an extensive Roleplay background, Though I have not been directly within the GOC I have helped multiple times with events within the regiment as an actor or as a stand in. During these times I have had to know the basic lore and functions of the GOC so I would be able to provide RP in an effective manner for those within the regiment. I have done my best to provide the things necessary and become someone helpful to others.
I have participated within multiple rp storylines and added onto others lore through events I have worked on and others have gotten involved in. I believe what makes a successful regiment is communication and providing the experience to everyone, need this be combative, roleplay, Long term or short term or even just chemical making..Everyone deserves a chance with what they specialize in, the more you can connect and keep your people connected the more they can provide for you, the more you may learn from them as they will do you. Needless to say I can bring Communication and teamwork to the GOC.
I also bring a passion for leadership and departments, coming this October this will be my One year as DoM. I have been through a department through the worst and best leadership and through when people are demotivated, tired, and or hate one another and want to quit. I have been through mass resignations, mass joins for consultants. I also have built it back up by trusting my consultants.
I know how to lead, bring motivation and keep people involved in RP, Groups and even give people leadership I know they can handle. I have learned to make a comforting, welcoming environment for my MLT and I want to bring that to this place, to make it sustainable and welcome to more RP and overall a community.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
Joining the Global Occult Coalition gives me the chance to contribute something meaningful to the regiment; it CAN be something beyond just combat or routine operations.
I personally want to strengthen the GOC’s identity through roleplay, structure to make this faction feel different from the standard gameplay loop foundation and CI offers.
I enjoy drafting documents from the time I was a consultant up to DoM. I am the designated document maker. I enjoy helping show up as a to reinforce what the UNGOC stand for
I want to be part of the foundation that keeps the regiment running smoothly. I enjoy the narrative/RP and diplomatic side of the GOC, but I’m also fully capable of supporting the combat elements when needed. Combat should be a tool the GOC uses, not its entire personality
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The Global Occult Coalition emerged in 1945 after the devastation of the Seventh Occult War, a hidden conflict between the Allied Occult Initiative and the Ahnenerbe Obskurakorps that made it clear the world needed a unified defense against the anomalous.
When the AOI dissolved and the SCP Foundation rose as the dominant force in post‑war occult affairs, many nations grew uneasy with a single private organization holding so much unchecked power.
In response, a council of 108 and anomalous groups formed the GOC as an official arm of the United Nations, built to counterbalance the Foundation and prevent another occult war.
Over the decades, the GOC’s relationship with the Foundation shifted between cooperation, culminating in agreements like the SCP‑GOC 1970 Accord, which restricted Foundation involvement in certain parathreats and forced both organizations to navigate each other’s authority. :3 mmm checks and balences
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS represents the Coalition’s frontline strength! strike teams, rapid response units, and the specialists who investigate, neutralize, or destroy parathreats using advanced technology and coordinated force.
PSYCHE serves as the diplomatic and political arm, managing relations with governments and GoI, negotiating treaties, and preventing conflicts before they escalate.
PTOLEMY handles the backbone of the organization: logistics, research, medical support, and the development of tools and systems that keep operatives alive and effective.
What are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
humanity must survive, no matter the cost. Everything the GOC does is shaped by the Fivefold Mission, beginning with
Survival, the absolute priority that demands the elimination of any parathreat capable of endangering human existence.
Concealment ensures the occult world remains hidden, preventing mass panic and global destabilization.
Protection focuses on safeguarding human lives, even individual ones while acknowledging that operatives may be sacrificed if the greater population is at risk.
Destruction mandates the neutralization of any anomaly too dangerous to contain or control. Finally,
Education ensures personnel understand the landscape well enough to fight within it, though this goal is always secondary to the first four.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
In my opinion as someone who has scrolled the wiki and looked into GoI’s for years I can say that the GOC is the only major SCP‑universe faction whose entire identity is built around elimination rather than containment, study, worship, or exploitation of an SCP/Anomaly.
Their structure is that of an actual Military with branches and branches of divisions, ranging from policy making and diplomatic work to just a more combative experience. It truly has something for everyone. Their mission remains uncompromising as well, such as neutralizing parathreats to protect humanity and maintain the Veil for civilians. This gives them a sense of an absolutist, often destructive role in contrast to the Foundation’s containment and preservation efforts.
Tales such as The Way It Ends, The Paths We Choose, and The Tales Clef wrote before his leave really had that sense of the Early Coalition as a group haunted by their own failures, forced to make decisions under pressure, and often aware that their “destroy the threat” is often tunnel visioned rather than the SCP's more secure contain protect motive, and hiding the truth in only their circle.
They truly have the sense of what consequences they can and WILL have ranging from Politically, and what it brings Humanity.
