Discord name: Squibo.

For how long have you played on CN SCP: Roughly 2 years

Time zone: EST

Character name(s): Jean 'Squid' Cyr

Civilian name: Milo "Iguana" Sheer

Do you have a mic?: Yes

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
Holding: Alpha One CSG / Chaos Insurgency DELCOM / DEA Senior Agent
Held: UNGOC MAJ/Attache / Chaos Insurgency BCOM

What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
Leadership, immense background understanding of how GOC works from teams to core values, GOI engagement, and an understanding of how to maintain a reg's interactivity

Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I believe that with a complete leadership change within the GOC it could actually thrive and I'd like to partake in that chance whilst I've had my set backs I feel as if I've only learned what better I can do for the regiment as a whole whether it be through leadership or just the ability to ensure my Enlisted/Non-Commisioned Officers are actively engaged with their leaders and fellow members, along with that I've been heavily invested into GOC my whole time being on the server and have learned all about GOC and it's goals through what started with the server alone has then grown into a love for the background and info on the faciton as a whole.

Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
GOC was founded during a WW2 Pizzicato like event where the at that time Allied Occult Initiative was displeased by their response time to end said event thus after the conclusions of it all the AOI came together to form the GOC to increase response times and ensure that a more aligned yet open goal to ensure humanities survival through any means.

What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS: GOC's militaristic branch seen commonly dealing with or liquidating anomalous threats at the most and then on another hand seen being the main lead for dealing with 108 deemed hostile GOIs
PSYCHE: Diplomatic/Investigative side of the Occult commonly seen negotiating with outer anomalous GOIs to ensure peace and seek common goals also has a smaller group of agents that'll look into possible TE emergents z
PTOLEMY: Commonly the Research and Development divisoin of the GOI commonly seen manufacturing paratech for field use or researching Liquidated TEs or UTEs for proper categorization whilst also seen supplying PHYSICS with quatermaster and relaying field reports to PSYCHE PTOLEMY is a true support branch for the GOC.

What are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
To ensure humanities survival through all means necessary and uphold their Fivefold and Five Precepts.

What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?: Their Council of one-hundred and eight different anomalous GOI groups and their means to deal with parathreats will most commonly result in liquidation and weaponization of their liquidated counter-parts if deemed possible/needed also their paratech is insane from modifying whole bullets to be able to kill gods to suits for better TE engagement

I do not want to be mean but when you were a Major for the longest time, you did not seem to have your heart in the role at all. You only started doing things really again when there became competition for the LTCOL slot as someone else became a Major at the same time as you. When someone was picked over you for LTCOL, you resigned bitterly. You also had stated you only cared about the PVP aspect of the GOC and not the other half of the regiment. Finally, you only rejoined GOC prior to it being disbanded this last time only to use the chem lab and requested a rank lock at private to do so and did not do any actual RP while as private.

I believe squid made the greatest impact on UNGOC during his time in the position, roleplay leadership needs an equal split of managers and larpers, squid kept that balance within GOC. How can we blame him for leaving a position bitterly, when the promotion of the competition was bitter regardless, what made the situation bitter was the baseless and offensive claims of sexism, which spurred from his competition. I do not see the person above me criticising the other portion of the situation in the same manner.

The "competition" was not the one who called him sexist and that was instead someone else. That has actually been a rumor going around so that is why I did not criticize anyone else. The individual who did call Squid sexist has not decided to apply for the GOC so that is why I have not commented anything on anyone's application involving the situation.
This is inaccurate. No reason to lie when there was multiple people in the call.

Anyways +Support squid for LTCOL he deserves it. He lead GOC positively.

You can state that it is a lie when it is not based on all conversations I have had and all evidence I have seen. If there is evidence of the the conversation showing that the "competition" did actually state that, then I would be more than happy to look it over and change my comment but from all I have seen, there is nothing showing that the allegations are true about the competition saying that he is sexist and I have gotten confirmation that it was actually someone else.

There is no reason to just lie. I won't be continuing this back and forth.

This is said out of respect and is from my observation within the GOC. I don't mean any ill will or disrespect.

First off. We need to acknowledge what happened when you didn't get Lieutenant Colonel. You left in a bitter, unprofessional way with bad standings with multiple people that were there, while also getting several members, including some CO's to resign with you. You immediately resigned, which isn't the issue, however after the meeting and celebrations, continuously kept speaking rather rudely and loudly in the TeamSpeak after the promotions and arguments had, to have your roles removed and kept emphasizing that you were leaving, until eventually you did leave the TS and regiment. This was an insistent reminder, by the way. People got annoyed enough to bring it up.

Secondly, I don't know if I'm ultimately convinced of if you're interested in what keeps the GOC's heart beating. You actively said that you don't care for the parts of the GOC that were RP focused, and only were interested in PvP. I think that kind of doctrine and mindset actively harms the GOC and contributed to the loop that people resented when the GOC was active. The GOC does do PvP, but actively having a CO, a Major nonetheless, say that they only care about PvP, and not the RP side, the thing we should be strongest in, is not what is going to keep the regiment alive.

Finally, the conduct with a CO I'll keep unnamed. I have seen you two argue a good bit on TeamSpeak, and I find myself questioning if you're particularly professional with people you disagree with. You seemed to bounce between being level headed and immediately sparking conflict with people, and from my personal account, it's not something that a CO, let alone someone in the GOC should be doing.

Ultimately, I don't think you can't improve. I just haven't seen tangible evidence or anything to indicate that you have improved, and I have no doubt that you have, I just haven't seen it. I have seen little of you in Alpha-1 from my time as OSA, but that's a time and availability difference on my end instead of an inactivity one. I only have the accounts that I remember from being both in the regiment, and being in the TeamSpeak when some of the stuff happened. I think you need time to really apply the reflections consistently before returning, at least keeping an NCO or Junior CO position for a bit to apply the experience to yourself before you rejoin the GOC.

Stating I am lying when I was never provided that clip is just toxic and false. Do not state I am lying when I clearly have not seen that that clip. You stating that I lied is slander and very much unappreciated. Please use proper terminology such as saying that I am misinformed rather than trying to slander me, thank you.

As for the points I made on my -support, they stand but I will rescind my comment that I made toward archie's comment after having viewed the clip.

Dictionary definition for you below:
Lie - a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth.

+Support Squid was always asking me when I was director on ways that GOC and Foundation could make/start good RP but do to some higher ranking people, nothing could ever happen because of relations but when we were friendly I remember him asking to for him and some nco and enlisted to come over so they could do samplings, test and blood drives to help the GOC internal sub regs so the lower ranked people can get their ranks and he was always free to help people understand stuff. He was one of the best GOC to talk to when I was DEA Director and he made my GOC experience a blast when I joined.

"LTCOL this LTCOL that"
Squid, as a MAJ, showed leadership adequate and required of his position at the time in my expertise. Any of this berating of him for "leaving" after being passed up multiple times for LTCOL seems to just be hate. And I am not replying to any specific individual and this is not towards any member of the community except squid. If you were passed up, I think 3 times for LTCOL, and finally decided to resign and when you resigned you get called sexist FOR resigning, there is 0 things he could have done. I seriously don't know what was going on at the time within GOC leadership, but the change made by Bear was necessary and executed swiftly. Squid would be fine as any CO going back into GOC.

Squid during his duration along with Furrenzy were the REGCOM I had the most interaction with while I was climbing to the rank of SGT within GOC and without a doubt an important leadership quality is approachability and relatability for members of a regiment. This matters, squid as a MAJ showed leadership and proved himself as someone who can and did lead during tense moments and in downtimes moments. The choice to overlook squid for the LTCOL position and instead promote someone else off cooldown until they reached the rank of LTCOL, I believe was done in bad faith and watching someone get promoted to a position you believe you worked for would cause anyone else to resign if they were in the same position. That being said I wasn't in GOC during the situation and cannot tell you what exactly the temperament of GOC was at the time but this is where my opinion rests.

Good Luck.
