Why are you applying for Director of Internal Security?
I am applying for the role of DoISD because I believe I have the experience, dedication, and understanding needed to help lead the department in a positive direction, during my time within ISD I have gained a much better understanding of how important the department is to maintaining order, accountability, and professionalism throughout the site and throughout other peers. ISD has a major influence on how situations are handled, and I want to be in a position where I can help improve those situations instead of simply watching them happen. I have always enjoyed taking part in investigations, audits, tribunals, and other situations where ISD is needed whilst having those close relations with other departments, and becoming Director would allow me to take that experience further, while also giving me the opportunity to help other members improve themselves and other people around them, another reason I am interested in the position is because I want to help create an environment where members of the department actually want to participate and improve and not just focus on doing the same things over and over again, to create a sensibility of fun and not boringness. I believe leadership should not only be about giving orders or holding a high position, but it should also be about supporting the people underneath you, listening to their concerns, correcting mistakes when necessary, and making sure everyone understands what is expected of them and make sure they do what they're supposed to do. If given the opportunity I would want to make Internal Security a department that is respected because of the quality of its members and the way it handles its responsibilities. I would also want to help newer members develop their skills, while giving experienced members opportunities to take on greater responsibilities, I understand that becoming a director would come with a large amount of responsibility, and I am prepared to put the necessary time and effort into the position hence my current time active now.

What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?:
I believe I am suitable to be a director because I have experience working within ISD and understand the importance of remaining professional when dealing with other departments and members of the site. I myself have been involved in situations where careful communication, investigation, and decision making are necessary, and those experiences have taught me that rushing into a situation can often make things worse. A person in a leadership position needs to be able to listen to everyone involved, look at the information available, and then make a reasonable decision based on the circumstances, one of my strongest qualities is that I am willing to take responsibility when something needs to be handled i do not believe that leadership means avoiding difficult situations, even If there is a problem within the department, I would rather address it directly and work toward fixing it, rather than allow it to continue. At the same time i understand that not every problem requires punishment, sometimes someone simply needs guidance or additional training, and I would make an effort to understand the situation before deciding what action should be taken, I also believe communication is extremely important for a Director even ISD interacts with many different departments, and poor communication can easily create unnecessary conflicts, I would make sure that department leadership remains approachable, and that members feel comfortable bringing concerns forward. I would also work closely with other leadership teams so that Internal Security is not operating separately from everyone else. Cooperation between departments is extremely important when dealing with investigations, disciplinary matters, inspections, and larger incidents, Finally, I am willing to dedicate time to the department. The DoISD should not be someone who only appears when something goes wrong or if they are inactive. They should be involved in the everyday operation of the department and understand what their members are doing. I would ensure to make an effort to remain active, assist leadership beneath me, help resolve internal issues, and make sure the department continues moving forward, it would also ensure Commissioners get proper training, Inspectors getting proper training from Comms, and everyone else to be knowing of the FLC/COE/COC.

What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Security in RP?:
The DoISD has the responsibility of overseeing the department as a whole and making sure that its members are carrying out their duties properly. This includes supervising department leadership, maintaining standards, handling serious disciplinary matters, reviewing new Senior Cl4, and making sure ISD continues to function effectively. They should have an understanding of what is happening throughout the department, rather than focusing only on their own personal duties. Another major responsibility is maintaining professionalism at all times, members of the department are often placed into situations where they have to investigate other personnel or make decisions that may have consequences for someone else. Because of this, ISD members need to remain fair and professional, even when dealing with people they personally disagree with. As so they should make sure members understand that their position does not give them permission to abuse their authority and arrest those who did not deserve to be arrested, Investigations should be handled properly, footage should be handled properly, and make sure favoritism is not involved, the DoISD is also responsible for developing the department and its members, the Director also acts as one of the main representatives of Internal Security when dealing with other leadership groups. They need to maintain good communication with other departments, while still protecting the interests and standards of ISD in full view. When serious incidents occur, the Director may also need to become involved in major disciplinary situations, helping other departments, and retrain those needed. Overall, the position requires someone who can balance authority, responsibility, communication, and fairness, while keeping the department organized and active.
