If SCU's are meant for the whole site than why don't they get access to HCZ? Nothing more titillating than waiting outside secondary while the one E-11 on dies repeatedly to the 3 SCPS out.
Site Access Guidelines states: "Testing Escorts & SCU Patrols" as valid reasons for CL3 GSD to be in Heavy Containment. SCU's patrolling is not loitering. I very VERY rarely see SCU's minging or loitering in HCZ as there is NOTHING TO DO DOWN THERE if you're loitering.
The backspawning issue is something I didn't consider, its definitely important and also a choke for where SCP's already spend a good chunk of time breaking through where SCU's might be able to spawn 2 (or more respawns if there wasn't a cooldown) times and get cheap damage off with no warning...
Which leads credence to the top of Secondary elevator spawn. You'd still have to wait for the elevator and push down through HCZ which would make response times slower than E11 but quicker than other GSD. You could tweak the balance with a 1-2 minute timer. Alternatively a small room could be...
Yeah, that was my concern with having it IN HCZ and why I think having a spawn in the Secondary elevator room would be a good balance. You'd still have access to HCZ but would be limited by the elevator and running to the code. This would make it take longer than E11 but quicker than other classes.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Add a SCU spawn somewhere in HCZ, either the Medbay or Armory. In leu of that, add a SCU spawn behind secondary bulk. (Potentially in a small cage or something)
