What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds a phone inside of SCP-049's cell on the table of the center of the room.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
No, nothing similar has been suggested.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Allows of the creation of RP more than if it wasn't added.
Essentially with the addition of the phone, SCP-049 could request things from Research to really make the server feel lively. As an example: SCP-049 could call the research department for access to its personal experiment files. Allowing the SCP RP server to actually feel like an SCP RP scene.
- Allows SCP-049 to report things or otherwise request checkups by the Mobile Task Force team guarding HCZ by calling the HCZ Security Office.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Minging as SCP-049.
People who hop on SCP-049 could possibly minge and prank call people which is pretty out of character alongside annoying research by calling every minute to have some interaction.
- Possible InfoBreach
Giving SCP-049 an unrestricted phone could possibly allow it to Info Breach to lower ranking members of the Foundation if they happen to pick up the phone. Restrictions on the phone would be required.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Based on the positives and negatives, I still believe that the ability for SCP-049 to create and foster RP with a phone far outway the chances of minging as SCP-049. Considering as SCP-049 is less of a murder bot than a majority of the SCPs on the server. This could also be a good change for the server, with more Researchers passively visiting SCPs. It can also be used as an intercom system between the glass and room to never have to go in the cell unless for sampling.
