What does this suggestion change/add/remove?
Adds a Nightvision/IRNV option to the facility CCTV cameras.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Don't believe so, no!
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Easier to call things out when using CCTV.
- In the case of 008 breaches when the power goes out, easier to assist teams in recontainment.
- Doesn't make any sense for state of the art CCTV systems not to have infrared night vision.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Some breaches may be hindered by people using CCTV (but a good counter argument is to have SCPs just break cameras as they go!)
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think this suggestion should be accepted as I have stated above, it does not make any sense for a facility that has "state of the art" technology to not have IRNV on their camera system. Even most home-oriented camera systems have infrared nightvision!
