What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This will be 2 things:
  1. Add a proper ruling or rule to disallow SCP to camp, right now its one of those "Common Knowledge" rules because the only scp that has the 5 minute camping rule is SCP-106 and therefor any other SCP can camp.
  2. Add a proper ruling that doesn't allow SCP-8837 to kill people who wear spacesuits because right now its put under failRP even though there is no way for a new player to figure it out without asking (There is nothing in the job discription or SCP specific rules about this)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I dont believe there was anything similiar or atleast definitly not recent.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
  • Allows for less useless arguments and technically incorrect warns for things that arent in the rules or staff ruling
  • Seals off a couple of loopholes I myself have found but have never abused

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
  • Requires small amount of time for SL to discuss proper rulings

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I believe that loopholes like these should be fixed, I personaly (even thought I shouldn't) like to point these out in OOC from time to time and then watch people argue, I also personaly hate these unwritten rules the server has, because they are just unfair for people who either dont know them or are just brand new. If it itsn't on the rules it should be against them. Staff ruling was designed for SL to make rules more clear but everything still happens mouth to mouth barely ever do things get added to it and this creates problems. Please fix this ASAP

Edit: Added a slight thing the the 2 rules to make it more clear. NVM I misread the rules 096 is counted as breached if his doors are broken so uhm TY Zen for pointing this out.

For number 1, there used to be a rule but it was removed, probably during the rules rework - blame @Requis . For number 2, it is directly stated in the 096 rules that it can roam out of its cell if breached and left alone for 60 seconds, and that one of the things that count it as breached is the containment doors being open. Can't comment on number 3 from 8837's perspective, I've never read the job listing and whatever.

Yes for 1, but for 2 the main issue is i wasnt breach when the admin made the clarification which is why i made it a part of this. The SCP's broke all my doors and then i got the clarification that i was allowd to leave (Not breached). (I'll update the suggestion to make it more clear)

The 096 rules explicitly state that it is considered breached if its containment doors are open.
