What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Would add a mechanic which would allow a faction to store it's own factions keycards in it's own factions filing cabinets. Allowing them to be used for later, including the new custom keycards, and allowing them to be stored over restarts for prolonged RP without needing to re-create the keycard each time.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I haven't seen anything similar, but it's possible.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- More custom keycard usage, as they carry over restart
- More possible disguises
- Tiny new target for enemy factions to use (kidnapping someone to open it and get free cards)
- Perhaps new ISD targets for audits
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Dev work perhap
- Lag?
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Generally I just see no real negatives in this suggestion other than any possible work it may take to produce. The point of having it only the factions own keycards would to not allow for super hidden cards (for other factions) but to still allow it to be used for RP, it would allow for more RP without having to steal a bunch of keycards each restart or without using the machine over and over again.
