Job: Technician
Lore:
Alvin obtained a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Chicago and joined the staff of the Chicago Public Library. Their early years are not much to talk about as they got the ropes of the many systems and sorted through countless stories and books. Defined by their interests in storytelling and mythology, they always enjoyed teaching and bringing the life of stories into other people's lives.
Around 5 or so years into working at the library, a green, unlabeled book was left neatly at their doorstep, along with a note from a local shopkeeper claiming to have donated it. He had heard about it in the recent news and thought of it to be an interesting topping to his blooming collection. The foundation tracked down the book and the shopkeeper who had already released the story to the local news and quickly confiscated it. Not before being impressed by the craftsmanship of the librarian and offering an interview. Passing with flying colors and now only realizing the book to be SCP-1230 they were put into the ETS service as a technician at Site-65 and have been serving there ever since.
In their off-time, they will rewrite stories from the times when they were a librarian and give them to other staff around the facility. This not only helps them remember specificities but brings enjoyment to everyone around them. You can commonly find him either in their bunks or traversing the many corners of the facility, fixing networking problems or talking about stories from days before.
OOC: If you need any other information my DMs on discord and this article are always open. If this is too realistic or has too many IRL elements too it I can dumb it down but I tried to make it as realistic as possible. All that is really important to me is on paragraph 3 so if you need the rest to be altered that is fine by me
