Why do you want to become a Gamemaster on our server?:
There are many reasons why i would like to become a gamemaster for SCP RP. The main reason is i want to positively impact the server by introducing new RP situations and helping to break the mundane loop within the server where nothing happens and MTF are waiting for either a code 1 or code 5. I want to bring more engagement to some jobs as well and provide them with more purpose by giving them a certain role in events and making sure everyone in the server can get more enjoyment out of their designated role within the facility. I also want to give people an equal opportunity to participate in RP situations within the server since i have seen many groups of people not included within events and are stuck in the mundane loop while other groups of people are having fun, receiving lots of things to do because of events. I also want to shed more light on every aspect of the server and focus events in places where little RP takes place, this is to ensure that certain parts of the server don't get forgotten and abandoned by the player base.
What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants?:
I already have extensive experience within the server and i know where to break the cycles of the server being quiet where MTF units do their main objectives and the rest of site staff dont have too much to do. I have also created many RP situations throughout the facility and developed omega-1 with new ideas to provide people with more RP, i believe the skillset required to accomplish this will prove useful to be a GM and can be easily translated to make fun and engaging events.
Please List 3 small event ideas (Which would involve at least one side of the server):
Event 1: Firewall breach
The systems of site 65 have been compromised and unauthorised access has occurred. The site announcement system plays a warning message stating that unauthorised access has been detected and the firewall has been activated.
After a few seconds the lights go out and a half-broken announcement plays stating that the firewall has been breached.
Lights come back online with the site systems stating that the systems have been reactivated however something doesnt seem right. Things throughout site start to malfunction, lights go off, doors open and given time SCPs start to breach however the alarm systems dont activate so MTF units cannot respond in an adequate amount of time.
The job of foundation personnel is to seal the breach by finding a fault in either one of the electrical centres or server rooms while the entirety of site security is put on high alert. Patrolling and making sure they can adapt to any situation that arises.
Once the breach has been secured the lights will go out a second time and another announcement plays stating that the site systems have been reactivated.
Event 2: Trident Squad
An elite unit of chaos insurgency operatives are deploying to pinewood to assist the local insurgency cell in their objectives.
Once Trident squad arrives the insurgency begins to gain confidence, attacking pinewood and securing lake house where they begin to fortify their positions.
The local population is in grave danger and the local GOC in the area must rapidly deploy in order to protect them alongside this the foundation must deploy units to gain their lost territory back and push the insurgency back to their base.
Trident squad is significantly more armoured and equipped then even delta operatives, alongside the support from the main core of the insurgency they will prove a very difficult threat to eliminate.
Event 3: Lost soldiers
A small squad of ww1 soldiers have been spotted entering pinewood. Their current objective is unknown. They appear to have very out of date equipment alongside ww1 weapons however they seem to have some anomalous qualities which seems to make them very resistant to harm.
3 SCPs will be moving around the surface in a squad with their objectives having to be discovered by the GOC, foundation and chaos. The interactions with these SCPs can vary and is completely up to whoever manages to contact them first with it ranging from hostile to friendly. If the SCPs are captured then research may be conducted alongside interviews to try and learn about their past.
Please List an Map change event idea (Involving both sides and the entire server)
Event: Site 43
Communications with site 43 have gone dark after recent distress signals of a containment breach. MTF units from the foundation are to deploy and secure the site as soon as possible to allow non combative personnel to move in a research potential causes. However due to the nature of this operation it is of key interest to both the chaos insurgency and GOC.
The insurgency deploy through a back entrance of the site and are to secure and potentially weaponize the SCPs present while the GOC deploy at gate B to attempt to neutralise all anomalies and potentially work with the foundation to ensure their objectives are met. However this will be up to the command team.
SCPs are present throughout site and each faction must race to complete their objectives, however they will inevitably run into each other and potentially engage.
The event can end in many ways from the foundation securing the site and research taking place when the SCPs are transported back to site 65, the GOC neutralising all anomalies to the insurgency capturing them and potentially weaponize them.
Once the map change part of the event is over the event will then continue into site 65 where each faction will still have the opportunity to try and seize the SCPs. The circumstance of the event is completely up to the player base, and it will be a multi-stage storyline until the SCPs have either been terminated or if they a kept for an extended period of time in the foundation, they must be escorted by MTF to an extraction point on the surface for transport to another site. During this extraction period the security must be tight since CI and GOC may intercept them to try and seize the SCPs for their own agenda.
If CI or GOC are successful in their interception, then they may do whatever they want with the SCPs such as finding ways to terminate it or possibly weaponize it and use it as an aid tool for the insurgency raids on the foundation.
List an example mission for each of the following:
O-1: a hit squad has been sent to try and assassinate an ethics member, O1 must make sure their P1 is protected, and the hit squad can be eliminated as soon as possible.
A-1: The O5 council has dispatched Alpha-1 to eliminate a high-ranking foundation member, this member has armed guards and must be eliminated quietly in order to prevent reinforcements from being called and the mission to be jeopardised.
NU-7: A large detachment of soldiers from a private military organisation have been dispatched to pinewood, NU7 must investigate and deal with this new group.
E-11: A malfunction in HCZ has occurred which poses a very high risk of a containment breach. E11 must locate and identify the fault before it begins to cause real damage.
CI: A traitor within the foundation has come to CI for protection, they have valuable information however they are a person of interest so the foundation will send reinforcements to try and retrieve them.
Foundation Staff: An SCP enters the site who seemingly isnt causing any harm to foundation personnel, the SCP has set up in his own room and foundation staff are free to pay the SCP a visit and try to discover more information.
