What will you do to stop this from happening again: Well. I am of the opine that I should likely not mention what I've been called in my retorts against what I've been called.
Prior to this, have you ever been warned/kicked/banned?: No. Never.
Why should you be unbanned: Speaking bluntly, it was agreed upon with me by the Staff Member mentioned above that the nature of the ban was, at the very least, a bit absurd. I made this very adamantly clear, strongly wording my confusion and dismay on the ordeal. To be as monosyllabic as humanly possible, to be cussed out, verbally, and to retort in high-brow fashion to the individual who cussed me out, should not be the grounds for a "Severe Toxicity Ban", if such a retort is merely to tell them that I should require a blanket and professional help after being called 'Blank', as a note of reciprocated sarcasm and contempt for what they were attempting to do.
I say 'Blank', as the mere mention of the word, apparently, put someone in such a position that, while I was the recipient of such abuse, I was also... Somehow... The aggressor? To someone else? I do not mean to seem obtuse, here, but to be banned for the mere mention of a word, a word which I was lambasted with, causing me to be labeled a 'Detractor' is... An unfortunate turn of events.
I have prided myself for being a Heavy Roleplaying advocate for fifteen years. To see the art put forward and built upon, by any individual, in simple or complex form, fills me with a joy one could scarcely find elsewhere. I, frankly, have no time for those who would try to destroy others, and their creative energies, for the sake of a small ego boost.
The one who attacked me sought such a boost, and, unfortunately, got it, when I was banned for my retort.
I will, obviously, not be mentioning the one who called so adamantly for my ban, here. I've no grudge against them. Simply a personal sadness, which stems from the salt in the wound which has been milled from this ordeal. To be offended by a word is something I can understand. Something I am all-too-familiar with. To be offended by one's defense against the abusive use of such a word, is, respectfully? Perplexing.
How can you ensure that you won't break any other rule?: Given the nature of the above-mentioned scenario, and the severity of the punishment, I really cannot see myself issuing rebuttals of any precariously-formed wording to my detractors for the foreseeable future. As for anything in regards to mechanics and Roleplay standards? Well, thankfully, nothing of the sort has been a problem, and I don't foresee it becoming as such.
Why do you want to rejoin this server?: Aside from my financial investment? As stated before... There is very little which equates the elation and thrill of creative effort. To write a character, into a universe, and to see them molded into a creature of their environment. To see them develop, over time, their aspirations, their goals. Their weaknesses and follies. The essence of 'Being'. You are creating something extraordinary, to see it either triumph, or perish. To creatively write a character is my ambrosia across many, many universes. And this happens to be one of them. I want to write. Not to live vicariously through a character, no. That isn't Roleplaying. That is... Existing. I want to create, and see my creation live. To love the art which I have loved for so many years. That is why I want to be here.
