Why are you applying for an Internal Security Inspector?

I want to further my training abilities. To elaborate on this, I want to be in a position where the following can/will happen: ISD Agents/Operatives will ask for help understanding certain policies, and I can better train new Agents/Operatives by being able to approve them and supersearch them without asking other personnel. I want to give organization to ISD when there are no patrols/stations set. I have seen plenty of examples of this from other ISD Inspectors in my past, so I wouldn’t have any problem. I want to provide ISD with accurate, viable instructions on what they should do during emergencies. Also, I really want to be an inspector as a stepping stone. I strive to progress in this department and further what I am capable of and use it. This is the absolute most honest answer I can give you, while my previous statements were also true.

What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?

I believe I am suitable for the position of Inspector for several reasons: as a blanket description, I have advanced knowledge of most (if not all) site policies relevant to my duties, and I know how to execute my duties. To clarify, I am consistently active and online for most, if not the entire 12-hour daytime on weekends. Of course due to certain restrictions and other commitments, I cannot hold such an activity on weekdays, but I am still online for hours on end on weekdays. Besides activity, I have much experience in all duties of non-leadership personnel, giving me the ability to issue orders and assist with any duties they may be struggling with. I believe, and when I’m saying this, I’m not trying to be arrogant, but I believe I can give an accurate and just determination when and if I’m requested to give one in the interrogation area. In correspondence with my first statement, I can give accurate and properly backed answers to any policy questions asked by my lower ISD.

What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?

I believe someone who is an ideal Internal Security Inspector is someone who knows the policy of the site without a second thought. Someone calm under pressure can handle tons of people all asking for them at once. Most of all, someone who can handle that responsibility, after all the power Inspectors have against Site Personnel, is something that shall never be abused. It is someone who can give a just answer when being asked to make a tough decision. It’s someone who knows how to implement their decision into effect when made. Of course, this isn’t everything that could make a suitable Inspector, but it’s really just a description that is case-to-case.

How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?

Unfortunately, I have not been allowed to major in roleplay documents, but if I could, I absolutely would. To make the best document you could, in my opinion, the following requirements must be met: the document gives a full description of the incident, allowing the reader to clearly picture the incident. It is formatted properly; for example, an arrest report shall not be one page, saying all the relevant information. It must be in the written format. For documents that lack a format, the information should be divided into relevant sections, allowing the reader to subtract information the purly need. It should never possess grammatical mistakes or misspellings. If it is a lore-based document, it should align with other established lore to prevent misunderstanding.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:

It is someone who should always be open to learning new policies and adapting to them. It is someone firm and correct with their decisions, but in the case they are wrong, they should understand their mistake and not reject the correction, no matter who it’s from. It is someone that, without mistake, all site personnel can actively rely on for any potential situations the Inspector has agreed to assist with. It is the duty of an Inspector to assist ISD agents/operatives, set up checkpoints using the IA Placer and set ISD at the checkpoint to operate it. Checkpoints are especially useful when there is an ongoing AOS, as it gives ISD an easy way to locate the suspect. The responsibilities of an Inspector are endless, to be true. Inspectors are the backbone of the ISD and the order of the site. Because of that, Inspectors are made to do so many things, all of which I simply cannot list.

Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:

I think I am ready and a great fit for ISD leadership for a wide variety of reasons: first of all, I know how to lead by example. If I ever catch myself being unprofessional, I try my best to prevent any further unprofessionalism from continuing. I can listen to my lower ISD and tell them how they can use ISD resources (operations mostly) to their advantage for things they are encouraged to do. I want to allow agents/operatives to gain information to progress. I will be of use to anyone who needs assistance with anything that is within my ability (within reason, of course). I have months of experience in ISD (although it’s quite spread out), and with that, I can say without a doubt that I have encountered most situations that an Inspector may have to. When encountering those situations, I know how to deal with them without a hitch.

Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Ten years ago, Banko Phil was a regular citizen. He shot a man in Reno after Banko Phil was caught robbing a local convenience store and was sentenced to death row for second-degree murder and armed robbery. Then one faithful day, he was transported to another prison, except this wasn’t a normal prison. He was brought to Site-65 as Class-D personnel. He surprisingly survived through 4 tests and was granted a Low Security classification. From here, he only went through the much less dangerous work permit route. He served one year as a Class-D Trustee. He long ago realized that he was past his 30-day stay. But at this point, he found out from another Class-D that this would happen. After three years, Site Administration decided that they would do something they had never done before. They promoted Banko Phil from Class-D personnel to Class-C personnel. This meant he would start his work as a clearance 1 personnel. He was chosen for a position as a General Security Cadet. He was shamed for being a Class-D in his past by other security personnel. After 5 months, everyone started to get off his case about it and started treating him as normal. It took another 7 months to get a promotion to Guard. But from there, he was promoted pretty rapidly. Once he got to Officer, he decided to try out for the Internal Security Department. His reasoning behind this was to get rid of the corruption in this horrible, crime ridden Site. As Banko Phil went through his duties, he was able to learn pretty fast how to properly do his job through the materials set up for the ISD CL3 personnel. He went through the ranks of Operative to Investigator after being in the department for 3 weeks. He pushed for further documentation on how to be a Investigator and succeeded to a degree. From there, he knew he had quite the record, so he waited a week before he put in his application to become an Inspector. Because of his backstory as a Class-D, it was tough, but he passed the Inspector vote and achieved his rank.
