Date of blacklist: 31/08/2025

Who blacklisted you (if known): Anticheat

To the best of your knowledge, why were you blacklisted: I was blacklisted due to cheating, which I now fully acknowledge and take responsibility for. At the time of my original amnesty, I did not properly admit fault and instead focused on confusion around addons and the anticheat. That was wrong.

This was the second time I had been caught cheating (although at the time of appeal I was not aware of this, it must have been a while ago and I don't recall ever making an appeal so not sure if it was a mix-up), and regardless of intent or circumstances, I understand that this justified a blacklist. Civil Networks relies on fair play and trust, and my actions violated that trust.

List any times you have used methods to change or hide your IP: None.

List any alt accounts: None.

Prior to this, have you ever been warned/kicked/banned/blacklisted: Yes. This blacklist followed a previous cheating-related incident as I was made aware to on my last appeal (however I do not recall it), making this my second offence.

What will you do to stop this from happening again: I understand that it has not been a very long time since my blacklist, but I am submitting this amnesty now because I am prepared to follow the rules properly if given another chance.

If unblacklisted, I will:

- Not use any cheats, scripts, exploits, or questionable third-party tools

- Only use addons that are explicitly permitted by Civil Networks

- Accept staff decisions without argument or evasion

- Immediately report any technical issues instead of trying to “fix” them myself

I am also fully willing to accept conditions on my return if believed to be appropriate.

Why should you be unblacklisted: I understand that blacklists are issued as a last resort and that I am not entitled to return. I am not trying to minimise my actions or argue the decision that was made.

I enjoyed playing on Civil Networks, but more importantly, I respect that the server depends on fair play. If given another opportunity, I intend to prove through my behaviour, not words, that I can follow the rules and not repeat past mistakes.

Thank you for taking the time to review my amnesty.

Worth noting that my "cheat" was experimenting with a Lua script to auto collect scrap. In all honesty, I was just playing around with my gLua skills since it had been a long time since but I understand that I should not have done it on Civil Networks and kept to my own private server. At the time I did not see it as anything major since it was just automation and didn't affect other players or gameplay, but I do understand why it was black listable for doing and its not something that I'd do again.

I was completely unaware of the previous incident mentioned on my last appeal, but I can only assume that it was many many years ago where I was probably doing the same thing. I'm over that now and just want to go back to playing as normal as I did. Thanks.
