whenever i try to connect to the scp usa server it says failed after 6 retries. i am able to connect to other servers just not this one. i have tried restarting and changing betas but nothing worked

I believe you are having issues with connecting to the server, here is a few tips that may solve your issue:
1. If it refuses to connect, try staying focused onto the game screen, avoid tabbing off if possible, that usually works better for me
2. It could be an issue with your Wifi, try restarting your router
3. Try downloading the content pack or redownloading it
4. Your game files may be corrupted, try fixing them by going on these few steps:
A. Go onto the Garry's mod home page on steam
B. Click the cog wheel for management
C. Click on properties
D. Go to installed files tab
E. Click the "Verify integrity of game files" button, this should hopefully fix it for you
5. Try uninstalling all your Gmod mods & reinstalling the game, however this takes a long time to re-download all the mods for the server
6. If all else fails, I would suggest searching up additional options or viewing the options from the attached screenshot (discord help)

It could be a server related issue, I suggest uninstalling the old maps from the game files.
If that doesnt work, you may need to upgrade your wifi or try to get it fixed.
yeah all my wifi stuff is fine i think this is a server related issue. i downloaded the map file but i think its an old one?
still not connecting even after a hard reset of my pc
Unfortunately I'm not sure there is a lot I can do to help any further, try connecting directly to the server via steam services, that might help
